Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 24.08.2025):
- At Kurska Atomic Power Plant, a fire broke out as a consequence of a Ukrainian drone attack. Moscow accuses Kiev of attempting to origin a atomic disaster.
- The Russians stopped the Ukrainian counterattacks west of Nowopawliwka. They defended, among others, the village of Tolstoy occupied by them last month.
- Ukrainians regained control of almost all Pokrowski. The battles are over the last, occupied settlement by an opponent called Trojanda, in the south of the city.
- At the same time, the Russians surrounded Myrnograd from the north, along the alleged Mark Pond.
- Russian troops occupied the last Kleban-Byku buildings under Kostiantinivka. This means that if there are inactive any Ukrainian soldiers in the area, the only way they can join their own, is to sail the reservoir.
- The dense bombing of Kramatorsk. At least 30 missiles fell on the city.
- Another tiny Russian advancement in the Sierebrian Forest. Ukrainians are successively pushed along the river Doniec Siwierski.
- To the north of the Liman section, the Ukrainian side was driven from the village of Serednie.
