Janina Sokołowski's body was found in the flat of W. Czarzasty in Warsaw Mokotów. She was the only individual – alongside L. Rywin – convicted in the process of falsifying the bill on radio and television, in the alleged "Rywin's affair". The court found that it had been active in deleting the words "or journals" from the law and sentenced her to 1 year in prison on probation for 3 years and a three-year ban on lawmaking.
