ŻAK NOW #54 – Election dilemmas and Beskidy

Depressed by globalist propaganda, we barely see the messages of electoral time. Who wants them to believe in a case that "chosenly" just connected the state to the Church in the Marian period of May, and thus symbolically reversed what the enemies of people managed to sanction formally in the 20th century, and worse besides in the consciousness of Poles. So there is the Pope and there will be a president ( someday it would be written: tiara and crown). But do we even realize how the assistance of the 3rd individual of God during the conclave differs from the percentages, or votes counted by the electoral commissions? Will we be able to make an individual choice here and now in a way of life that is old adequate to organize the material planet and the spiritual world? What are we going to do (apart from prayer) so that the president and the Pope will be there? In search of answers to these questions I propose a journey to Beskid Island.

At the ft of Modyn, 1 of the honourable Beskid “thousands”, lie 2 neighbouring villages – Forest and It's disgusting.. any city's scavenger would have said, "Wow." In the meantime, it is in specified places that we can find Poland, which we have "lost", which they "lost". There are no online markets here, but there are “basics” where they teach teachers that everyone knows. The school in Zbłudza was established in 1900 and its name was given to King Jan Sobieski. The 1 in Zalesiu is patronized by Henryk Sienkiewicz, and has existed since 1886. In these places, you have never ruled and will never regulation the "minister"; at most, actual education "will go into the forest" as in German occupation. We besides have culturally apparent mention points, specified as firehouses and, above all, local churches: parishes in Zalesie St. Maximilian Kolbe and chapels in Zbludza St. Despite the efforts of Warsaw's governments, people inactive live here from the ground and the forest, and economically forced saxes did not keep them permanently distant from the nest (no shortage of storks either).

Every place needs an identity mark; only 1 of its own. Somewhere else it will be a lake, somewhere else the ruins of the castle, and yet in another place the erstwhile battlefield or sanctuary. And there's quite a few people in there. If no longer soldiers (and specified times of the First Republic, and then partitions and occupations multiplied many on the Polish land), artists are definitely about the Genius loci of the given place. The most crucial are those whose “family is from here”. The strength of real art is not necessarily the consequence of having a paper entitled "Master of Art". The Cosmos of the Musicians is simply a space without which it is impossible to empower the rivers, mountains, old walls or even the Wayward.

Peter Kwit He was born in 1929 in Zalesiu and died there in 2002. He was at the Piast place, where at the celebrated school of Blessed Fr Bronisław Markiewicz at Fr. Michalites he studied carpentry, bedding, locksmithing and joinery. Painting and sculpting began around 1950. Initially, these were mainly spiritual motifs, duplicated images of saints. The first sculptures were made not by a chisel, but by a simple knife. He drew a lot, too. For the parish in Kamienica he made about 60 projects based on which ornaments were embroidered. In the town parish, he became curious in classical music. As an organist, he played at all Christmas Mass until his death (after building a church in Zalesie, he did so in his native village). His musical interests may surprise: Bach, Händel, Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Chopin, Moniuszko. He played their compositions but besides made his own, though he did not compose them down.

He liked his painting work and was reluctant to part with it. He appealed to St. Thomas of Aquinas, for whom wisdom "is to know the top goal in all situation and the best way to accomplish this goal." His paintings are full of colours, and primarily the planet of nature, and in it animals. As he utilized to say: “Nature has given me talent. I live in the planet of nature and that is why I paint animals, flowers, birds.”

Birds are its theme; throughout his life, he spent most of his money feeding winged beings and being their unique expert. This is best seen in his sculptural work of life depicting St Francis among birds, typical of Gorces and Beskids. In 2009 Association of Artists fabs and Municipal Cultural Centre in Kamienica they organized a retrospective exhibition of Peter Kwit under the prominent title “Bird of ZalesiaIt’s okay. ” The soul of this task was Margaret Sidorwho thus portrays the artist:

Kwit knew that art has more value than money and fame; that thanks to it, man has access to infinity, that art brings knowing of the world, makes man smarter and better. Can modern - day Christians appreciate Peter the Kwit and his work? possibly it's only a substance of time since beauty, good and fact are on his side.

Mrs. Margaret is the soul of the “Artist Fabs Association” – she pictures and paints. She had many exhibitions in the country, although like Kwit, the strength of her work is associated with the Island Beskid and people “from here”. According to her, man can know and realize not necessarily by communicating directly, verbally: “We can get to know each another through images, photos, musicIt’s okay. ”

On the occasion of the photograph exhibition, “My Forest”, she shared this reflection:

Visual arts, as the name suggests, tend to observe, see... see. In my opinion, by seeing and then passing on a sign that leads us to the truth.

And 2 more thoughts from Mrs. Sidor of Obsligence, which I would like to dedicate to all those who have a problem choosing. Think first:

We must be aware that culture has become a modern battlefield. On the 1 hand, we have a culture of variable values, which recognizes the constant transformation of man and the planet around him, on the another hand a culture of constant values, recognising the nature of man as immutable, where the conditions surrounding him are variable. The fight takes place at universities, museums, galleries, media – in all institutions connected with widely understood culture.

The second thought in which we find a mention to Plato:

The works of a good man are unnoticeable, though they are large or immeasurable. specified people frequently become victims and are like Abel. “For all the poets who compose good poems do it not by skill, not by art: only God ascends into them and they in delight talk all these poems.”
