The Russian-Ukrainian war, which has lasted for more than 2 years, has brought a large deal of death on both sides of the conflict. Ukraine besides lost large areas of territory. Despite this and the apparent difference in the possible of both armies, the Kiev government has consistently refused to enter into peace negotiations. However, the fresh "peace summit" in Switzerland was grotesque adequate to have debated respective twelve countries, but without 1 whose position is crucial for the continuation of the war, Russia.

However, Ukraine's position seems to be changing – and despite the inactive in force decree of Volodymyr Zelenski of 30 September 2022 stating "the impossibility of negotiating with Russian president Vladimir Putin". Whether Putin or not Putin—what a difference, let's be honest.” Experts in geopolitics say that the change of position of the Kiev government is dictated by statements by Donald Trump, who not only can shortly return to the White House, but besides declares an immediate end to the war in Ukraine.

Additionally, after the massive attacks of Russia, the Ukrainian electricity infrastructure is in an always worse state, making the nearest winter so severe that it will mark the social sentiments of the Ukrainians, who are clearly tired of war.

So what is behind the change of position of the government in Kiev, and what is the plan of Western “patrons” of Ukraine, who have invested billions of dollars in conflict with Russia?
