Never in my life have I bought “Polish Newspaper”. I never cared what it said. Until yesterday. Just yesterday I got a message that “Gazeta Polska” was curious in me.
It turned out that I was a co-worker of the Russian website "Sputnik". I never wrote any text for this page. As far as I know, erstwhile the Russians reprinted my text, which in turn reprinted "Think Poland" from my side. If this is simply a collaboration, I must request a fee from the Russians. Could be in rubles. I just don't know who to turn to, due to the fact that I never read the lyrics on "Sputnik". I usage another sources to know what's going on in Russia.
It is besides not actual that I am writing for “Polish Thought”. For now, I only compose texts on my website, which the editorial board “Think” reprints. They didn't even ask my permission, but due to my old cognition and community of views on many issues, I don't blame myself, and even that suits me. According to the editor, my lyrics are rather popular. As far as I know, they are besides reprinted by the page "Conservativeism" which I am pleased about. I think they have a fewer readers there, too, since they're inactive being reprinted.
Therefore, I do not realize what I deserve to be at the forefront of the co-workers of the Russian "Sputnik" and most likely any Russian lobby. The author of the text in “Gazeta Polska” manipulates quotes from my texts and lies. I realize that this clerical weekly has propaganda in which fact is an unnecessary obstacle, so I should not be surprised. I've been dealing with this a lot in Seymik. But I wonder why it came on me. I do not compose very often, nor in what I compose about, I have no crucial position. However, yet find themselves in the company of professors Anna Raźny and Stanisław Bielenia, It's an honor. In addition, erstwhile I reviewed the mentioned issue of “Gazeta Polska”, I understood why Ukrainian safety had awarded the editor-in-chief of this weekly. On the basis of reading this issue, it would be excessive to call the “Polish Newspaper” a bulletin of Ukrainian security, but who knows what the future will be.
Assessing a magazine on the basis of a single issue may be very unfair and hurtful, but the degree of pushiness of written propaganda even in this issue convinced me that I had never bought this magazine before. And I will not advise against buying “Polish Newspaper”. If readers of my texts have time and money, I urge them to buy and read magazines of different political orientations, provided they are able to face facts, measure and draw their own conclusions. In this context, you can learn something interesting from the “Polish Newspaper”.
Against this background, I am more afraid than lies and manipulations of the “Polish Newspaper” that I would call totally treating opponents in public life. There was a fundraiser for the large Orchestra of Christmas Charity yesterday. I have the impression that among supporters of this action as well as lovers of a individual George Owsiak, may not yet be hatred, but any aggressive hostility not only to the opponents of WOŚP and the individual who created it, but even to people like me indifferent, but not disturbing. little and little with a joke, and more and more seriously, I fear that the time is coming erstwhile fear will appear on the street without a WOŚP red heart glued on the clothes in the most visible place. With sadness and fear, I watch this charity act take on the character of a political plebiscite on a rule that is not with us, our enemy and we will show him to the end of the planet and 1 day longer.
Another side of this totality can be seen in the mentioned “Polish Gazette”. There the only truth, dogma and sacrament is what the Law and Justice preach. Among these truths, dogmas and sacraments, 1 of the most crucial is the 1 about hostility to Russia. There is no discussion, no exchange of arguments or a minute of reflection. In a country that respects and protects the simple conditions of freedom in public life, these are unacceptable behaviours. all free citizen has the right to publically criticise, disagree with, and carry out various types of actions under the law that aim to change this policy and deprive people of its influence at the time. Poland is not de jure at war with Russia.
W Warsaw is simply a Russian ambassador and in Moscow is Polish. Poland buys from Russia all the time. These facts give the right to discuss Polish-Russian relations, as a public part not only of the allowed, but besides of the desirable debate on what is best for Poland, what is, and what is not in line with the Polish national interest. In the meantime, if you are not an angry enemy of Russia, you are not an uncritical supporter of Ukraine, you do not share the views that PiS presents in these matters, then you are a traitor, an agent and you have no right to talk anywheretho.
You request to be taken distant from any chance to express your views, utilizing secret police and foreign. You request to get fired, bullied and humiliated. I imagine that the worse the situation of Ukraine in the war with Russia, the greater the hazard of putting people like me in prison.
This snowball of totality is already rolling, increasing and accelerating, crushing everything in its path. What's worse, there's nothing incorrect with those who are officially protesting against the various actions of the Law and Justice, destroying freedom in public life. Of course, it is about the Civic Platform and the groupings around it. How large will it grow and where will this full snowball stop? How about a thaw and the sun melts it? Can you see that a full snowball is growing?
