The Donbass case, followed by Novorostia, has been the subject of not so much discussion for more than 10 years, but of disputes over the course not only of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict itself, but of the political and military strategy of the highest authorities of the Russian Federation. The individual A.B. Mozgawoja was of course known and respected to me, but I did not know that he had left a diary of any kind. I looked deeper into available sources on this occasion. The effect of correspondence received from the said reader and my later searches is published below, in respective editions, recognising the content of the records of the commandant Mozgawoj as a very crucial paper and besides a kind of ideological-political and even civilizational message.

Letter to Russians and Ukrainians

I compose this letter with a heartache for my people. I, the Orthodox Cossack, was forced to defend my land from my own brothers in the faith.
