Stop calling Iraq a "mistake". erstwhile you make a mistake, you make changes so that the mistake does not happen again. No 1 liable for this invasion suffered any consequences, no political changes were made, and the monopolar ideology that led to it strengthened more than ever.

If the invasion of Iraq were a "mistake", Western government officials would be in jail in The Hague, uncounted experts and journalists would now be working behind the cash registry in retail stores, and US abroad policy would undergo a profound, dramatic change in thorough repair. Instead, it was precisely the other – Western officials who started the war in Iraq are respected members of an elite society, experts and journalists who produced approval for it are at the top of their field, and ensuring a single-polar hegemony of the U.S. by all essential means is the accepted standard of position quo in mainstream politics.

This is due to the fact that the war in Iraq was not a "mistake". It was a cold, calculated decision that had precisely the effect it was expected to have: the improvement of Western energy interests, greater geostrategic control and the expansion of the American war device in key geostrategic regions. A individual who commits a “mistake” does not get as a consequence everything he always wanted without suffering any consequences for the harm done. This is what happens to individual who has taken deliberate, calculated action in their own interests.

You can pretend that the war in Iraq was a "mistake" if you accept the authoritative reasons for starting it: Iraq's gaining weapons of mass destruction, spreading freedom and democracy among those mediocre Iraqis we love, and making the mediate East a safer and more peaceful place for all. It is not right for adults in 2023 to believe that these were the actual intentions of the invasion of Iraq.

If the invasion of Iraq had been a mistake, changes would have been made to guarantee that no of this happened again. These changes have never been introduced due to the fact that they are about to do akin things in the future.

The claim that Putin's charge of war crimes without George W. Bush is absurd, it's a devastating argument against the thesis that the invasion of Iraq was a mistake. If the law does not apply to all, it is not the law, it is corruption. It's a powerful tool.

It's comic Putin stayed punished by an global Arrest Warrant Court Criminals not only on the 20th anniversary of the American invasion of Iraq, but besides a fewer days after Pentagon intervention to halt Biden's administration from helping the ICC to collect evidence of Russian war crimes, as this could lead to the ICC's prosecution of American war crimes.

One of the funniest narratives about the empire they make us believe in present says The United States militarily orbits his rival number one, ChinaOn the another side of the planet, defensively.

I hear people say, “I argue the Chinese government, not the Chinese nation!” Oh, cool, so kind of the same thing that virtually anyone inciting a war neoconservative said about virtually all country they've wanted to destruct since the turn of the century?

You're not making an crucial or interesting discrimination erstwhile you say you're opposed to a abroad government, not people, you're just painting the same good image on the same nasty show as any whore of war since 9/11. Shut up.

China should start arming Mexican cartels so that they can defend themselves against the upcoming US invasion. According to the U.S. textbook, Washington should not have a problem with this, as China should not have with US activities in Asia.

I saw people usage Marxist-sounding rhetoric to justify NATO's expansion and the American replacement war. I saw people usage anti-imperialist jargon to justify China's lap. It's like people utilized the Bible to justify racism and another ugly things. Your beliefs don't substance if your heart is in the incorrect place.

Reading all the right books and having all the right concepts will not defend you from error; only transparency of sight can keep you on a consecutive and narrow path. And that requires hard, dedicated, rigorously honest interior work. No amount of cognition can replace that.

We all know people who share what we consider to be noble ideological convictions, but in reality they are garbage people erstwhile we meet them. Having the right convictions won't make you a better individual and won't defend you from utilizing those beliefs in a very unhealthy way.

Having all the right political opinions does not replace being a good person. The selection of all appropriate conceptual fields will not replace intellectual health. Reading all the right books won't replace real interior work. Concepts are worthless without interior clarity. You gotta do your job.
