Private Economy legislature It is an oasis of the voice of entrepreneurs, farmers and experts who are actually building the Polish food chain. This is where the heart of the debate lies in helping local producers and strengthening the “Polish shelf”, i.e. promoting home products so that the consumer has access to healthy local food. These issues are not so fashionable as strategical ones — in a time of global crises and trade restrictions, it is crucial that the economy is resilient, acting for citizens and independent of abroad capital.

This year's edition integrates expert dialog and legislative consultation. The legislature is divided into 2 parts: the circular Agricultural and Food Table, which is the space for free exchange of views on the assumptions of the local shelf law, and discussion panels. The first panel is “What does a Polish product mean?” with the study of the Jagiellonian Club “Economic Patriotism AD 2025...”. The second, "What adjustments does the European Green Deal require?", concerns the impact of EU climate policies on Polish companies.

Both representatives of the administration, including Jan Ardanowski, Janusz Wojciechowski and Artur Zawisza, as well as representatives of the sector – from processors to manufacture organizations and initiatives specified as We Check, Coop Tech Hub, Poland from Nature or the Union of Polish Milk Processors will take the floor.

The 2nd Private Economy legislature will be held on 25 August 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Zielona Conference Centre in Warsaw. The event is part of the celebration of Polish Food Day, which besides underlines the precedence for the promotion of local products. The organizers are the Jagiellonian Club Analysis Centre and the Jagiellonian Club, and the Union of Biomethane and Biogas manufacture Manufacturers and Employers partner. The honorary patronage included, among others, the Ministry of Agriculture and agrarian Development, KRUS, Poland from Nature and the Inspectorate of Agricultural and Food Products Trade Quality.

The Private Economy legislature is an event where local food meets the law, innovation and strategy of the state. Welcome to the participants and beginning speeches, including presentation of the assumptions of the local shelf Act.

Round agri-food table: discussions with representatives of administration, manufacture organisations, trade networks, farmers and media. Each guest takes the level (3 minutes), and comments will be included in further draft legislation.

Discussion panel: “What does the Polish product mean?” with the presentation of the study “Economic Patriotism AD 2025. Recommendations and a guide to an informed consumer, prepared by the Jagiellonian Club.

The second panel: "What adjustments does the European Green Deal require?", attended by Janusz Wojciechowski and Artur Zawisza. The subject will be the opportunities and limitations of the Green Deal in the context of Polish companies.
