France is starting to ban low-energy buildings. Poland besides faces a akin hazard if it complies with the EPBD.
‘By 2028, as many as 5.2 million French homes with the lowest energy efficiency assessments will no longer be eligible for rent. Poland is waiting for akin changes," writes Piotr Majańek, writer of the “Investors Zone”.
The French authorities exceed the current requirements of the European Union through their limitations. They stress that their aim is to accomplish a "green", zero-emission Europe, and so it is essential to exclude low-energy housing from the lease.

The property owners have been subject to fresh strict regulations imposed by president Emmanuel Macron's government, which impose energy efficiency requirements on homes and housing to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption. The regulations presently cover buildings with energy classification F and G. The authorities besides propose alleged incentives, i.e. backing the essential budgetary renovations.
However, as Majańek points out, the Brussels plans supply for the introduction of draconian rules for the full European Union, including Poland. associate States are required to implement the Building Performance Directive (EPBD). Minister of Climate and Environment, Hubert Różyk, has already announced “administrative measures” in the event of failure to comply with EU legislation.
New zero-emission buildings
"There are about 6.3 million homes in Poland. About 2 million of these houses are in bad method condition. Over 1.7 million of them have no thermal insulation. More than 347 000 homes have insufficient isolation given the parameters proposed by the EU" – we read in the text by Piotr Maciek.
"One of the most extremist aspects of the planned directive is besides the imposition of the work to build fresh zero-emission buildings from 2028. This means that fresh housing will should be full decarbonised, which in turn will accelerate the improvement of environmentally friendly technologies, specified as renewable energy sources and advanced insulation technologies," says Macańek in his article.
