A large household – a patriotic work in the face of the demographic crisis

In the face of the ever-increasing demographic crisis, which affects not only Poland but besides Europe, the subject of having children becomes not only a individual decision, but a patriotic duty. In today's world, where mass media and pop culture advance anti-natalist attitudes, it is worth recalling why a large household is the foundation of a strong nation and why we should fight a communicative that discourages motherhood. Poland is ageing at an alarming rate.

According to GUS data The fertility rate in our country oscillates at the level of 1.3 children per woman, while at least 2.1 is needed to guarantee the replacement of generations. This means that, with each generation, our people are increasingly shrinking, and the pension system, wellness care and the full economy are being questioned. Without young people who will work and build the future, Poland is doomed to fall.

In this context, having a large household is not only private happiness, but an investment in the endurance of our culture, language and, above all, the Polish people. A large household is simply a school of virtues: love, responsibility, cooperation and above all sacrifice. In multi-children families, children learn to respect others, share and build bonds that aid to build a healthy society. Parents, erstwhile taking the problem of raising many children, set an example of courage and religion in the future.

Contrary to liberal-left narratives that disgust motherhood, presenting them as a regulation of freedom, the fact is that it is the household that gives the deepest meaning of life. Children are not a burden, they are a treasure. They hope for a better future for parents, as well as for the full nation. In a large family, the kid is not raised in egoism, but learns the values of the community. It is in specified families that leaders, patriots and people are more frequently born ready to sacrifice for the common good.

History shows us that the nations that put their money on the household were strong and resistant to crises. Poland, which has survived partitions, wars and communism, has always been based on the strength of families – they were the basis of Polishness in the most hard times for us. Meanwhile, mainstream media (sewing) and celebrities increasingly advance anti-maternity attitudes: advertising, tv series and the glorification of single life, childlessness and consumer lifestyle. Motherhood and matrimony are presented as a career obstacle and a regulation on freedom.

Such narratives, frequently inspired by leftist ideologies, are not only lying, but very dangerous. Telling young Poles that having children is something embarrassing is simply a simple way to destruct our society. Behind these slogans is frequently a cynical game of elites, which see in a declining population the way to easier control the society. A smaller number of children means less people to argue a globalistic agenda.

First of all, antinatalist narratives conflict with our religion and tradition. For inactive Catholic Poland, where the household has always been a saint, the promotion of childlessness is an attack on our values. In order to tackle the demographic crisis, we request a change in social and political thinking. Firstly, the state should support multi-children families not through non-profit kind 800+ social programmes, but through taxation relief and promotion of household values in schools alternatively of harmful wellness education.

Secondly, patriotic media specified as us must talk out about the importance of the household and exposure lies to anti-maternity ideology. We request to do a counter-revolution in the media. Thirdly, each of us has an work to set an example – by choosing household life, we show young generations that it is worth investing in the future. Dear fellow countrymen, let us not be deceived by the fashionable slogan of freedom without responsibility. A large household is not only a joy, but besides a patriotic duty.

During the demographic crisis, all Polish household that opens up to life is an act of courage and religion in our future. Let us not let the media and abroad ideologies take distant what is most precious from us – our identity and hope for the endurance of the nation. Let's be arrogant of our families, support them and defend them from attacks. due to the fact that it is thanks to families that Poland is strong, free and faithful to its values.
