In any case, there were many another more well-deserved who either testified in Nuremberg as witnesses (e.g. the creator of the Barbarossa plan and then the commander-in-chief of the army hitting Stalingrad von Paulus), or sentenced to prison punishment, although thanks to them the war lasted at least a year, if not 2 more (Speer).

Since Russia present claims that by attacking Ukraine it has exercised its right to self-defense, based on the above-mentioned article, it must consistently recognise that the German attack on 22 June 1941 was the same!

Stalin brought more soldiers to the border with the 3rd Reich than he could have utilized in Operation Barbarossa.
