Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 21.12.2025):
- At night, further air bombs and ballistic missiles fell on Odessa and its surroundings. The aim was, among others, the river port and bridge in the town of Majaky.
- The fight for Myrnograd continues, where isolated points of Ukrainian opposition are destroyed.
- Russian forces end regrouping on the Siwierski section. Siwiersk himself has already been cleared of mines and fortified, in fear of a possible counterattack.
- Ukrainians cut off respective Russian troops in the northern part of Kupansk. The laps are not going to give up, and they're counting on help. There are fierce counterattacks of another units to penetrate them.
- At the same time Ukrainian losses are expanding outside the city. Russian drones ruthlessly attack all vehicle moving around the area.
- The Russians crossed the border with the Sumi circuit in a fresh place (half way between Suma and Kharkiv), after which they occupied the advanced village. It is not clear at the minute whether it is an component of a larger offensive, or simply a fake action, designed n to bring Ukrainian forces into this area, so that they do not run out on major episodes of fighting.
- Portugal has revealed that it intends to send a military contingent to Ukraine after peace has been concluded.
