The Russian-Ukrainian War. study 19.10.2025

Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 19.10.2025):

• A fresh Russian drone attack on Ukrainian cities. They were hit in Kiev, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernichów and Dnipro.
• The Russians again crossed Dniepr in the confederate Chersonia district. The situation is unclear; it is likely again about infiltration activities and aimed at stopping greater Ukrainian forces in this area, so that they are not shifted to more endangered sections of the front.
• In Pokrowski, Russian FAB missiles destroyed the second bridge on the Volcza River serving the army.
• Russian troops have made advancement in the Pokrowska region and in the area of the village of Torśke and Nowoiwanevka. Ukrainian soldiers there defy many attacks of the opponent, but they usage hard weather conditions and electronic interference to infiltrate the position of defenders. The Russians themselves are moving east along the railway embankment. The goal is to cut the city's defence into 2 parts.
• Under Kostiantinivka, attacking Russian troops captured full control of Pleschevka. The battles are already in the neighboring Ivanopilia.
• Liman was not expected to be attacked from the east. Russian diversional-opportunity troops entered the city through a forest complex from Jampil's side.
• Western experts foretell that, with the coming of winter, the pace of armed action by both parties may fall significantly, making military movements and cloaking difficult.
