Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 18.10.2025):

On the Zaporo section, the Russians entered the village of Prywilla. The fortifications of Poltava have besides fallen. This is the first major breach in the local defense, guarding the northeastern flank of the Hulaipol fortifications.
After a longer break, Russian forces hit north of Kotlyne on the Pokrovsk section. The full industrial territory was to fall into their hands.
Ukrainians proceed to retreat from areas east of Kupansk. As a result, the Russians occupied the villages of Tiche and Piszczyna. Currently, fighting is taking place in Kuryliwka.
On the Charkowski Front, Russian forces invaded the Volchansk Chutory village.
After talking to Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelenski announced an increase in drone production and discussed US-Ukraine military cooperation. He besides addressed territorial issues and the request for ceasefire as a basis for further negotiations with Russia.
Trump and Putin are to meet in Hungary. For now, it is unclear how the Russian president will get there.
