Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 16.10.2025):
- The Russians crossed Dnieper and landed in the confederate part of Chersonia. After gathering intelligence, they withdrew.
- Another failed Russian attacks on Spies and Newmykolaiwka. The impact on Oleksiwka was successful. A line of tranches was taken east of it.
- The main bridge in Pokrowskie was destroyed. This makes it hard to supply Ukrainian troops in the east part of the Zaporosian section.
- There's no stopping dense fighting in the Pokrów section. The Russians occupied the village of Kozackie and entered the confederate part of Myrnograd.
- Another effort to take Droniwka under Siwierski failed. Ukrainians realize the importance of this position, so they defend it with large dedication.
- Ukrainians activated on the Summarist Front, hitting Oleksivka. The Russians are slow giving them the area around her.
- A gathering of the Ramstein Group began in Brussels. It is attended by U.S. War Minister Peter Hegseth.
