Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 06.01.2026):
- Ukrainians hit Russia with about 300 drones. In response, Moscow sent about 250 own drones and respective rockets. Impacts occurred in Kiev and Dnipro, among others.
- Small, Russian advancement under Nowopawliwka.
- As part of another counterattack in the Pokrów section, Ukrainians managed to re-enter Rodinski.
- On the Liman section, the Russians reinforced their positions along the river Donet Siwierski and invaded the towns of Ozerne and Old Karawan.
- 7. The Ukrainian fast consequence Corps reported that it thwarted Russia's effort to attack in the Kupansk area. Russia tried to usage the closed Soyuz pipeline. Ukrainian forces reported in the announcement that about 50 Kremlin men were to participate in the action. Eventually, soldiers of the 7th fast consequence Corps succeeded in removing 40 of them.
