Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 02.06.2025):
- Ukraine carried out a coordinated sabotage operation in Russia. In addition to yesterday's very effective attacks on road and rail bridges in the Brian and Kursk region, there were a number of strikes in the country. Military airfields (under Olenierski in the Murmanian region, under Diagileno in the Ryan region and under Belaja in the Iraqi region) were attacked, destroying at least 40 military aircraft. The attacks utilized masked tires in which drones were transported, then launched around the base itself. According to the Russian side, the losses could have been larger, but respective specified tires were stopped before the pilots were launched.
- The Russian offensive continues to make on the front, only partially slowed by attacks on logistics.
- On the section of Kostiantynivski the defence of Diliwa fell.
- On the Siwierski section, Russian forces occupied respective points reinforced between Ivano-Darivka and Wierchnokamianskie.
- On the summarist front, small advancement was made around Oleksijiwka.
- The Russians destroyed a training base for drone operators in the town of Czugujew.
- The Russian and Ukrainian delegations went on to talk to Turkish Istanbul. They're expected to start tomorrow.
