Participants in the protest of utmost leftist environments caused a street conflict during which they attacked police officers and present on the scene to raid television. The demonstration was an expression of opposition to the closure by the anarchist authorities of Askatasun's "social centre" last December.
According to the balance sheet, given on Saturday night Sunday by Italian media, the 10 most aggressive participants were arrested.
The media published photographs and recordings showing a group of young men kicking and beating a police officer who lies on the ground. A 29-year-old officer went to the hospital. On Saturday afternoon, a group of aggressive demonstrators detached from the multi-thousand-dollar demonstration in defence of the 30-year-old centre of the utmost left wing of Askatasuna in the capital of Piedmont, who threw bottles, rags, stones, smoke candles and metallic pipes at the officers' disposal and then tried to force the police cordon and set fire to the police cars.
There's been a street battle. The RAI tv crew was besides attacked, whose equipment was destroyed.

The closure of the anarchist centre was the consequence of ongoing investigations into, among others, attacks on various institutions. 1 of them was made last year for the editorial of La Stampa.
Home Minister Matteo Piantedosi stated: "What happened in Turin confirms who the perpetrators of force are and who poses a genuine threat to civic coexistence and to our democracy; they are antagonists – guests of illegally occupied social centres, with political support."
