“I’m scared”, “it’s scary” – in a milder version, most likely after taking neospasmine – terrible, “it scares me” etc., etc. These are not my expressions but quotes from “recognized” journalists, experts, politicians and mostly world-class experts, heard on radio and the net in the last 2 days.
And what frightened all these “outstanding” commentators? Well, how easy it is to guess, the content and atmosphere of president Trump's telephone conversation (USA) with president Putin (FR). These fears were conquered by message by Pete Hegseth – Secretary of defence in president Trump's cabinet on mediocre prospects for Ukraine. By the way, this 45-year-old politician (PH) has the rank of Major of the National defender Land Army and is simply a veteran of the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, which contrasts rather brightly with the resumes of all our defence ministers throughout the 35th year of the IIIRP, no of which (!!!) was in the military and did not undergo military training.
Returning to this collective trauma, apart from the grotesqueness and absurdity of most assessments and statements, it should be noted that these attitudes stem from the profound disappointment that political reality does not want to be the same as that of many years of propaganda. You can see that all of them are—unconscious or, on the contrary, full aware—the children of Marks (Karola not Groucho) and followers of 1 of his dialectic laws, which says: “If facts contradict explanation (in this case propaganda), it is worse for facts.” But in this way they reveal, on the 1 hand, any individual limitations, as if the words of my late prof. celebrated for elegance, on the another hand, are completely unfit to describe reality and forecast the future. And the spice adds that almost all these afraid people have an academic education (or even a census) with a humanist profile (social sciences). You can see in the stress of the above mentioned information that akin geopolitical changes, which we are now surviving witnesses, have already occurred many times and so: in 1815 (Vienna Congress), 1878 (Berlin Congress), 1919 (Versal Treaty), 1945 (Poczdam Conference preceded by the Yalta Conference), 1985 to 1990 (five conferences from Geneva to Moscow).
So everything was already there, and that's why past is specified a fascinating discipline, but you just gotta want to survey it without ideological confusion. What truly happened? Well, what was inevitable from the point of view of political play, in which only hard business and not sentiment and desire matter. The United States, in their best interests, must someway persuade Russia to slow down even for a small bit the increasing association with China, and by the way with Iran and Korea Mon. And that's the full mystery of the motives of the Trump administration. Fortunately, this time, for the first time in 250 years (the beginning is the unfortunate Confederation of Barska 1768 – 1772), it is not us and our country who will become the scapegoat laid on the altar of rivalry of large powers. Providence is evident, for not our "loved leaders," she listened to our prayers and spared us this "honor" of dying "for our liberty and yours," and as it later proved to be chiefly for yours.
In this situation, the question arises: whether and if so, erstwhile will repentance take place? Here, unfortunately, I am not an optimist (against my own nature) due to the fact that the observed hysteria of the "Polish intellectual elite" has strong support in akin felts in the European Union. In addition, the same Brussels philutonics who, of the arrogant European countries and nations who built civilization, culture and economy of the world, made pariahs and ridicule not only for Americans (though they besides have their democratic party), but even Hindus and Chinese. It seems that 1 or even 2 more cups of cold water are needed to sober up and reconstruct the ability to conduct a real policy in specified a dynamically changing world.
