In fresh days there have been intense discussions about a fresh housing debt strategy for Start, which is to replace a safe 2 percent debt and a household housing loan. The programme provides for financial support in the form of credit instalments. Szymon Hołownia, president of Poland 2050, powerfully announced that his group would not support this project.
Criticism from Poland 2050
"We will not support 0% credit," wrote the talker of the Sejm on platform X. Hołównia argues that this proposal is aimed primarily at developers, not at those who truly request housing. According to him, the introduction of specified a programme will only lead to an increase in property prices, which will make access to housing for average citizens even more difficult.
"Do you know the effects of the Safe Credit 2 percent programme introduced before the elections by the Law and Justice Agency?". Average increase in housing prices in Poland by 13%! In Warsaw by 21 percent, in Krakow by 29 percent! What? Shall we repeat the scenario? What kind of a country, alternatively of learning from its own mistakes, does it reproduce them without reflection?"
We can't support 0% credit.
We won't, due to the fact that this is simply a proposal for developers, not for people in request of housing.
And this is simply a proposal that will lead to 1 thing: rising housing prices. That's not allowed. @PL_2050.

Ministry of Finance and Further Plans
Finance Minister Andrzej Domański announced that at 1 of the forthcoming meetings of the economical Committee of the Council of Ministers, Minister of improvement and Technology Krzysztof Paszyk will present both this programme and another solutions to increase the availability of housing. However, the government's proposal, according to critics, may have the other effect, as the president of Poland 2050 besides emphasizes.
Alternative solutions
The Hołównia stresses that its grouping is not opposed to housing support but proposes a different approach. “Today we request a program that will truly support Polish women and Poles who want to buy their own apartment,” says the talker of the Sejm. The Polish 2050 proposal assumes various forms of support for social construction and housing available to a wide scope of citizens, not just for the richest.
Conclusion
Criticism of Hołownia towards the Housing debt Program on Start opens a wide debate on effective solutions in housing policy. The arguments cited by the president of Poland 2050 show that the unreflective duplication of erstwhile errors can lead to further deepening of problems in the real property market. The Holowna Group calls for thoughtful action and support for social construction, which has the chance to bring real benefits to citizens.
Summary
The future of the Housing debt programme at Start remains uncertain, and its form will depend on further debates and decisions made by the government. Szymon Hołownia and Poland 2050 clearly state the request to introduce solutions that truly support citizens and not just developers, which is an crucial voice in the discussion on housing policy in Poland.
