Waćkowski: Unused chance of pragmatists

In a fewer days it will be the first anniversary since the annulment of the first circular of presidential elections in Romania. A Trumpist, a multivector, sovereign, a supporter of Moldova's union with Romania entered the second circular and stopped supporting the Kiev government of Călin Georgescu.

When all indicated that Georgescu would win the second round, the ultimate Court controlled by the National-Liberal organization and the Social Democratic organization invalidated the results of the first circular of presidential elections. This decision was favourable for Romanian establishment And the collective West. I'm not any large supporter of saying, writing what would have been if. However, in the case of Romania, the fact that certain scenarios have not happened does not mean that they cannot happen in a somewhat different individual composition in a time.

In April, repeated elections were held. In the presidential election, Simon could number on the support of the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Simon and AUR have not displayed anti-Hungarian sentiments for any time. The Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania forms the current governing coalition in Romania, at the same time this group is very closely linked to Fidesz.
