Hopes that it will yet be a dull and peaceful year, without large historical events, have passed faster than leaven after fresh Year's Eve. I must admit, however, that I was delighted to see the frustration of the Russians.
In the West (and more specifically, in the country of mediocre education and bad burgers) it was swarming with conspiracy theories that it was any kind of planned plan that Putin was giving up Venezuela and Trump Ukraine. And here usually this stupidariat of them pops up with “proof”, a weapon in a tuxedo that individual erstwhile considered specified a deal in 2019.
And someway 1 fool with the another doesn't realize that this deal wouldn't make sense. Russia cannot (and could not do anything in 2019) to aid Venezuela. No cards. And Trump cannot (and could not do anything in 2019) to force Ukraine to surrender. No cards.
This story that Venezuela did not fight is present in the West, but alternatively not among the Russians. Russia with a large pump delivered Maduro anti-aircraft rockets, aircraft, and many Vainners there. All for nothing. This may or may not like it, but as the Americans take it seriously, they are able to destruct all targets from the air before the "aircraft defense" always finds out about the attack.
Julia Davies assembled 2 statements of the same Russian propagandaist. In December, he was excited by the Venezuelan strengthening operation, after which "Trump realized that there was no chance", due to the fact that if anything, Russian rockets would sink him all the ships. And right after the attack in a clear panic he did not know what to say, he mumbled "quirky, interesting," he grimly joked about the request for a device in Russia "villages of fallen leaders", and then entered a digression that it was all Yanukovich's fault.
One thing is certain: all third-world dictator who put up an alliance with Russia, hired vasners as individual bodyguards, set up KRAP-300 anti-aircraft batteries around the presidential palace, purchased Krapojan-Krapewicz fighters – he should be very afraid now. Optimistic script is for him to scope this Russian “village of the overthrown”.
O I don't know anything about China, it's a mystery to me as usual wrapped in a secret, but it seems like it's bad news to them, too. They besides blended billions in Venezuela, and Trump deliberately humiliated them. Yes suggests CNN.
Of course, a typical American who only visited neighboring region from the planet can imagine that “it is the Chinese that will now do the same to Taiwan.” Twitter has flooded rhetorical questions "where the difference".
The difference is that no 1 misses Maduro. I mean, of course the usual ones – Chomsky, Pedomsky and Ephebsky. But it seems nobody in Venezuela itself (even his government fumbles). There are besides no mass gatherings of support in another countries of the region.
And that's an crucial difference, which I besides ask for to be respected by PT Komcionauts (especially those fewer Che Guevary fans, whom I now look hard at). The Taiwanese want to defend Taiwan, Ukrainians of Ukraine, but any regimes are so mean to their own citizens that they are already calling out "Truman, Truman, throw this crap due to the fact that it is unbearable". This is evident in Venezuela, possibly Iran, possibly Panama, possibly Cuba. Not in Greenland.
What is next, of course, I do not know (but I will gladly perceive to PT speculations). It seems that the government in Cuba will fall like a domino cube – and then Trump will be able to talk about real success. Being the president who regained Cuba would not be another fictitious "finding 8 wars between Cambodia and Abu Bedjan", that would be something. I hatred to give Slytherin a point.
This would not, of course, make me a supporter of Trump, but I believe that the left-wing point of view is to take the point of view of the average resident of the country – John Smith, Lars Nielsen, Juan Hernandez. Reagan has a street in all Polish city, due to the fact that he contributed to Jan Kowalski's ability to buy a fresh golf – an unattainable dream for Jan Kowalski from 1988.
"Let us defend Maduro, defend fidelists" – this is not a hill worth dying on. Or get a ban on my blog.
