With Michael Waver We participated in the Patriot Summit for Europe in Brussels and in the consultation before the European Council.
Negotiations have just begun in Brussels at this gathering around the fresh EU multiannual financial framework, i.e. budget plans for the next 7 years. This is being done in the context of the increasingly hard financial situation of the Union – we have heard that the European Commission believes that the repayment of “covid” debt will consume staggering 20% of the EU budget. Meanwhile, Eurocrats are presently planning a fresh reinforcement debt programme.
What this can mean for us in practice:
– fresh Euro-taxes for EU money (eurocrats are "own resources") – higher EU contributions than associate States,
– cuts in cohesion funds and agricultural policy,
– debt rotation and higher borrowing costs.

In the EU, no 1 presently has an thought of how to negociate with Russia and with the United States the end of the war in Ukraine or how to regain competitiveness in the global economy, which seems impossible without rejecting the doctrine of climateism, or how to specify itself in the global trade rivalry of China and the US.
We are in a transnational organization plunged into a strategical drift and increasingly deeper into economical problems. This is not an optimistic diagnosis, but the beginning of any sensible strategy must be to realize its own position.
