Tusk and Prime Minister of India talked about the United Nations Charter. Not a word about the situation of Christians

As we read in the message on Raising the Relations of Poland and India to the Rank of the strategical Partnership, published on the government pages of both countries, Prime Minister Modi expressed his gratitude for the hospitality presented during his visit to Poland and invited Prime Minister Tusk to visit India. Within the framework of the strategical Partnership, both countries will prosecute common objectives by monitoring advancement through an yearly political consultation, stressed.

The message states that Tusk and Modi stressed the "need to respect the Charter of the United Nations". They besides expressed "deep concern about the situation in Ukraine with its tragic humanitarian consequences, condemning the usage of force".

According to the document, both prime ministers stressed the importance of the relation between the "two top democracies of the world" — the European Union and India. They stressed that they share common interests in ensuring safety and sustainable development. Both parties have committed themselves to deepening the strategical partnership between the EU and India, which they believe is crucial for global stableness and prosperity.

The message besides stated that Poland and India will regularly consult on safety and defence, with an emphasis on the modernisation of military equipment. On the another hand, the strategical Partnership Implementation Plan published at the same time states about cooperation between defence industries of both countries, the "important element" of which is to be the gathering of the Joint Working Group on Defence Cooperation for 2024.

According to the statement, both prime ministers believe that the number of direct air connections between Poland and India should be increased, as well as fresh flight directions should be opened.

In addition, as part of the fresh strategical partnership, Poland and India are to make cooperation in the fields of culture, education and research. Both countries plan to strengthen links between academic institutions and advance exchanges of students and teachers.
