More than 11.6 million Romanian citizens voted in the presidential election, which is 64.7 percent of the full number of voters, as reported by the Central Election Office (CKW).
According to published information, a full of 11,639,301 voters gave their votes after the closing of the polling stations.
On Sunday, the second circular of presidential elections took place in Romania, attended by organization leader Alliance for Romanian Unity (AUR) George Simion, who won 41% of the vote in the first round, and mayor of Bucharest Nicosor Dan with 21% of the vote.
