It is hard to defy the impression that Poles like soap operas. This delight has its origin in the 1980s, erstwhile most of the housewives – and most likely not only – followed the destiny of the beautiful slave Isaura and her tormentor Leonsia.
The protagonist of the current soap opera is, of course, Mr Zbigniew Ziobro – erstwhile Minister of Justice. It combines features – in the perception of the audience – of both characters from the 1980s: it is adored by its own, as is the slave of Izaur and hated by political opponents, as was Leonsio. The full of Poland, or at least its political part, lives whether they will waive its immunity or not (as we know already have)? And if so, will they arrest him or not? And will our hero (of course opera) apply for political asylum in Hungary or not? And erstwhile he does, will he be drinking delicious Hungarian salami with any local shade or the best Egri bikavér (which translates to eger bull blood) and desserts with Tokajami Aszú 5 puttonyos? These are themes and dilemmas for today.
It is not that the National wellness Fund (which is financing "free" due to the state (here without ") wellness care; that we note the highest budget deficit in the past of the 3rd Poland (more than PLN 320 billion) and the biggest fundraising – by pardon – interest (about PLN 100 billion) paid from public debt, which takes large steps towards an astronomical amount of PLN 2 trillion (2×1012zł ); that in fact we do not have an army in the face of unrest on the east border; and finally, that our disorganized and incapacitated peculiar services do not have a green thought of how many are among the Ukrainians residing (legally or not) in the territory of the Republic of Poland s and possible diversions, acting for the intelligence of Ukrainian, Russian, German, Israeli, English and God knows what else?! The most crucial thing is political destiny and possibly individual Mr. Ziebra.
This reminds us of the Titanic ball, with the difference that the home company is much closer to the 3rd deck than the first class. But the finale can be – unfortunately – the same!!!
