On the side of the various streams of sovereign thought over the past fewer years, the belief that globalisation was destructive, the false universalist presumption that a single model of the system, cultural, political, worldview meets the needs of all civilization, culture and nation on our planet.
And rightly – globalism has shown in a way that it is simply a way to nowhere. Change in Washington could be at least a partial confirmation. Trump America and Trumpists is any kind of return to the planet of their own identities and cultural codes for American civilizations characteristic, natural. Perhaps, as any say, there is simply a deep state that yet considered liberal globalism to be of small usage at this phase and that its interests will be more effectively pursued on the basis of the foundations of classical liberalism, with libertarian raids (Elon Musk) and conservative raids (Curtis Yarvin). Trumpism so announced a large return to American roots. For how long and determined we will see.
Accustomed to the fact that the model and model is what happens behind the Atlantic, Europeans have decided that the conservative-liberal phrase is the way that we should follow Washington. We have here an example of the mental, cultural and political impact of Europe's Americanization, which has been created from sources different from the young American republic, referring to Puritanism, Anglo-Saxon ideologies of the WASP, or Old Testament messages. The European identity has been and is much richer. Yes, any of its elements resulted in the emergence of American civilization, but in the fresh planet they developed a completely separate road from European one. America has become a civilization entity. Europe has ceased to be one, yielding to the powerful influences of fashion, trends and ways of reasoning our distant cousins from beyond the large water.
The rejection of globalism by Trumpism makes America mention again to its roots. The copying of Trumpism by Europe, on the another hand, does not free us from a long-term dependence on the younger Atlantic brother. This does not mean that Trumpism cannot and should not supply creative inspiration for Europeans. On the contrary, the specified fact of reaching out to its own decks of civilization and suppressed over the past decades of identity layers can be an indication of the way that others can go. But this analogy ends. We believe that everyone has the right to follow their way of development, that we respect the right to choose. We do not interfere and impose on others the way we choose. And we're moving in peace, and we can work together on quite a few things.
Rejecting globalism by the metropolis of the hegemonic planet now giving up on the multipolar planet is undoubtedly a step in the right direction, as is the thought of relying on its own traditions. Let us emphasize – our own.
Europe present stands at the intersection of 3 roads. The first leads in the direction in which we have gone so far, relying on supporting and preaching the globalist gospel, even though its chief believer had already given up and lost faith. The second is the continuation of the automatic copying of everything American – this time consisting in the implementation of Trumpism on the Old Continent. However, there is besides a 3rd road, most likely the most demanding: the pursuit of building on its own traditions and identity foundations.
The emergence of Trumpism makes it easier for us to go that 3rd way. If Americans are allowed to trust again on their own traditions and to mention to an identity that has been successfully negated in fresh years by globalisation, why not do the same to us in Europe? Automatic copying of Trumpist assumptions would be as artificial and contrary to European conditions as importing another doctrines shaped in different cultural contexts. Europeans traditionally perceive the function of the state in their lives differently, they have different perceptions of the community from the Americans (they are alienated from utmost individualism), they disagree in their perception of specified a fundamental concept as the limit (not only geographical, but besides regarding the horizons of human capabilities). Trumpism can be an chance for Europe if the second takes the chance to work out, or actually dust and modernize their forgotten foundations.
