The ongoing conflict in Iran brings many casualties among civilians

Iran accused United States and Israel to carry out the bombing of the school in Minaba, which, according to the authorities in Tehran, killed 160 students. Victims' funerals were held on Tuesday. The attack was condemned, among others, by UNESCO. The chief of Iranian diplomacy compared the tragedy to genocide in Gaza Strip and published a photograph of rows of recently dug graves.

The raid on the girls' school in Minaba was to take place on Saturday, February 28, shortly after the start of the class. Witnesses study that the bombs fell straight on the facility building. Media reports disagree in the number of victims. Iranian authorities say 160 students were killed and another 60 injured.

There were funerals on Tuesday. According to Clash Report, immediately after the attack, the victims' families were to search for debris themselves in search of their children.

Minister for abroad Affairs of Iran, Abbas Aragchi, posted on social media an entry bearing a photograph of over 150 graves.

"This was the grave of 160 innocent girls who died as a consequence of the American-Israeli school bombing. Their bodies were torn to shreds. This is in practice the ‘save’ promised by Mr Trump," he wrote, referring to the erstwhile president Donald Trump. In his message he besides compared Saturday events to the genocide in the Gaza Strip.

The work for the attack is denied by the US authorities. “If this were our attack, the Department of defence would conduct an investigation,” said the Secretary of State Marco Rubio. “The United States would not intentionally attack the school,” he added.

A Nobel Peace Prize laureate besides took the floor, Malala Yousafzai, condemning the attack on the educational facility.

Pentagon and United States Central Command did not make a direct comment. On the weekend, CENTCOM only reported that it analysed reports of possible civilian casualties in connection with military operations.
