Hungarian Minister for abroad Affairs and External economical Relations Peter Szijjártó said that he had tabled a bill in parliament on the speech of Hungary from the global Criminal Court (ICC), a vote may take place at the end of May and the decision will enter into force next year.
Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that his country had decided to retreat from the ICC due to the fact that he believes that in fresh years the organization has changed from impartial to political.
"Based on the decision of the government, the Ministry of abroad Affairs prepared the appropriate bill, which we tabled present in Parliament. Parliament can start discussing this bill by the end of April and vote on it at the end of May. After the parliamentary vote, of course, we will notify the UN of our step and, in accordance with global law, our decision will come into force next year," said Shijjártó in a video posted on Facebook.
