Sixteen-year-olds want to vote in elections. Why is it worth letting them?

Older people have all right to participate in democratic elections. However, a strategy where younger voters are regularly outvoted by the interests of older ones cannot work well: it can easy foster either political and social apathy or anti-system radicalization of younger people.
