"Shame", "honor", "triumph of post-communism". Who doesn't want to see a monument to the 1920 Warsaw conflict in Poland? [ANKET PCh24]

Why in Poland A.D. 2024 stands a monument of Bolsheviks, who marched to Warsaw in 1920 and at the same time there is inactive no monument commemorating the large triumph of the Polish weapon over these Bolsheviks? This was answered by excellent interlocutors of the PCh24.pl portal: prof. Tomasz Panfil, prof. Jakub Polit, Stanisław Michalkiewicz, Barbara Nowak, Tadeusz Płużański and Krystian Kratiuk.

The question of your editor should be: why was the Warsaw conflict monument not built in 2015-2023? A monument commemorating Gloria Warszawska 1920 was erected in the Second Polish Republic, but it was demolished by communists after planet War II.

The commune reigned in Poland until 1989. After it came to power post-communists so it was besides hard to number that they would build specified a monument.

Until 2015, there was no chance to build a monument to the conflict of Warsaw, due to the fact that no authority needed and did not want specified a monument. In 2015 came the power that needed specified a monument, which wanted to build specified a monument that spoke out about it. But why was it not built for 8 years? In my opinion, the years 2015-2023 were the only 8 years in past since 1945, erstwhile specified a monument could be erected.

The problem is not that the fresh power of specified a monument, connected with Russia, does not want. For me, it was perfectly clear that the coalition on 13 December would not build specified a monument. The problem for me is the years 2015-2023. Is 8 years not adequate to build a monument to the conflict of Warsaw? I don't think so. 8 years is adequate time. So it turns out that time wasn't a problem. Money was not a problem either, due to the fact that these were also. So what was the problem? Why was the monument to the conflict of Warsaw not created?

And here we come to the only reasonable answer to this question: people failed. Who? tTgo I do not know, but no uncertainty we are dealing with 1 of the biggest in Poland's past of inability, if it is evidently inability.

The best answer to your question will be a quote from our classical Cyprian Kamil Norwid: “What have you done to Athens, Socrates”.

We are dealing with the situation that a monument was erected on the Polish soil, which, if at all, should be erected, should happen at the latest as shortly as possible, and what is most crucial – the Grand triumph of the Polish Oraż close Warsaw in 1920 – speaking most delicately was neglected.

Honestly, however, this should not surprise anyone. Let me just remind you that for a very long time we were incapable to build the Museum of the Warsaw Uprising, that is, events that be in memory of the outgoing but surviving generation, we all the more request to wait to commemorate events that the period of the Polish People's Republic condemned to memory, and 1 of them was the conflict of Warsaw 1920.

Recalling the era of Poland's triumphs and the fact that we erstwhile meant something in the planet may be hard for the rulers for various reasons due to the world's dominant culture of “sorry”. According to this culture, with this approach we should swim in the mainstream, that is, we should not stand out.

Poland is not a better or worse nation, and like another nations it has had extraordinary moments in its past that are worth commemorating, due to the fact that these are not only moments of defeat or moments of consideration for caution, as any have argued.

Let me just remind you that erstwhile before the Second planet War the celebration of the Polish Army was established, erstwhile the celebration of Gloria Warsaw was sought, erstwhile it was decided that the year 1920 was to be engraved on the conflict crosses, it could be done and carried out over respective years. This year we have 35 years of existence of the 3rd Polish Republic. Since at the time the monument of the conflict of Warsaw was not built, clearly we are dealing with bad will.

This situation shows that our authorities care more about commemorating Bolshevik soldiers than Polish soldiers. Besides, it's just not individual who would take this case seriously, which is not talking, but acting. The current government focuses on settlements and considers it the most crucial task to bring about the illegalisation of the Law and Justice. The police are defending themselves against this threat. To do that, there are also environments active in the full dispute, besides our invincible army, which is becoming increasingly political. In short: past repeats itself and almost everything in our homeland looks like in the 18th century on the eve of partitions.

Many of us wonder if the monument to the triumph at Warsaw in 1920 will always rise. possibly he will. This may happen in any 1,000 years, if Poland inactive exists. But now there are “important matters”. The current government, as I said, deals with "accounts". In turn, the erstwhile government first fought bravely against the alleged pandemic, then the most crucial goal of its existence was the service of Ukraine and just no 1 had the head to deal with specified "foolages" as a serious celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Warsaw Battle. That people were reproving themselves? That Jan Pietrzak set up a peculiar committee on this matter? And who in power cared? The most crucial thing was to “drink and bite”...

It's hard to even comment on this. It's just mean. Just plain insolent and disrespectful to your own history. The Warsaw conflict Memorial should be the most iconic monument for us and should stand for the most exposed places in Poland.

The fact that he does not have it is simply meanness, neglect and drama, that we do not respect our own past and can't do what is beautiful, what is crucial to draw out and show the young generation of Poles and the full world. It truly is simply a thing that should not happen, but which at the same time results in situations specified as today, erstwhile many young people do not know history, due to the fact that they do not have any elements that they could defy to be arrogant of Poland, Polishness, of their own past.

Surely specified a monument would be a sign and make the chance to be arrogant of our courage, sacrifice and valour, erstwhile our nation stopped the red plague coming from the east with common forces.

Once again: this is an absolutely worse situation, that there is no monument to the Warsaw Battle, and there is simply a monument to the Bolshevik invaders. It shows that we are not worthy to be called a sovereign nation all the time. There is no sovereign state if it is incapable to defend actual values and remember its heroes and moments of triumph. If in Poland there is simply a monument of Bolshevik invaders, not our heroes, this is simply a strong example of the deficiency of sovereignty.

This is the best proof that we are inactive surviving in post-communist times, which is due to the alleged systemic transformation, i.e. a smooth transition from the Polish People's Republic to the Polish People's Republic, and not to any new, free Poland.

We haven't created the state as far as we can. The III Polish Republic is in no way a continuation of the II Polish Republic and should so be called PRL-bis.

For the last 35 years, more active and influential have been and inactive are post-communist communities, which have taken care to honour Bolshevik soldiers whose monument stood in Ossów, and did not honour Polish winners from the Warsaw conflict and the full Polish-bolshevik War.

This is no uncertainty a clear signal of who is truly in charge here and what ideas are exposed.

Poland is inactive in reverse. Polish victors, Polish values are increasingly forgotten, ridiculed and presented as a reason for shame. This can be seen, for example, in the “new opening”, which the current power introduces in Polish schools. You can see it in culture. This is seen in the fresh scandal of the removal of St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe from the Museum of planet War II in Gdańsk.

We have a immense problem with our freedom and independence. We have a immense problem with our identity. I am ashamed, as a Pole, that inactive a large triumph of 1920 is not emphasized, it is not appreciated, but it was not only a milestone in rescuing the Polish State, which was reborn after 123 years, but besides the full of Europe from communism. To this day it should be the direction of our action! To this day, we should follow what we then achieved through cooperation, through the national community. Unfortunately, Gloria 1920, the courage of Polish soldiers, the effort and dedication of the nation are being thrown into the garbage as irrelevant, and post-communist ideology is being promoted, which is present called European ideology for the unknowable, but has the same goals as communists: the demolition of the national state for the fresh Euro-Colchoz with the difference that it is located in Brussels alternatively than in Moscow.

We are a country that worships defeat and triumph much more.

Since the publication of Piotr Zychowicz's book on the Warsaw Uprising, 10 years have passed. Zychowicz's thesis on "crazy" was very strong in the souls of any part of the public opinion, but it changed little.

Moreover, the patriotic authorities of Poland – due to the fact that patriotism and the desire to cultivate the past of the Law and Justice cannot be denied – went very powerfully into it and very powerfully conquered this drum having during their regulation the 100th anniversary of the Warsaw Battle.

All the forces that have always been in the course of the regulation of law and justice aimed at worshiping the Warsaw Uprising, in which there is absolutely nothing incorrect with it, in my opinion, had to be redirected to preparations for the 100th anniversary of “the Miracle of the Vistula”.

“The Miracle on the Vistula” is an event that best shows the essence of Polishness, that is, the place of Poland on the map of Europe, that is, the intent of Poland’s existence, is to defy ungodly invaders on Europe, that is, the suburb of Christianity, that is, our piety, our marity. Everything could have been stored here and everything was badly lost.

We are talking in 2024, on the 104th anniversary of the conflict of Warsaw and it is long after the play. present there is simply a war in the East and the wave of public opinion has been so transformed that even Donald Tusk considers his erstwhile colleague Vladimir Putin, with whom he walked on the Sopot pier as a warlord and a criminal, so possibly paradoxically the coalition government on December 13 will do something about the disgraceful, genuinely shameful negligence of all crews of the ruling 3rd Republic.

As for the monument of Bolsheviks in Ossów. The existence of this monument proves that Russia is simply a serious state and takes seriously its soldiers and people who gave blood for it. In Russia's political doctrine, there is an informal evidence that the full planet is Russian, and where the ft stood and spilled blood, the more this land belongs to Moscow. We can't even take care of our own land. We cannot even celebrate the large triumph over communism from 1920. But can it be different in a day erstwhile sports journalists are suspended for calling the communist manifesto a “communist imagination of the world”?
