«Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness,

And all this will be added to you»

The Lord Jesus tells us to seek. Searching is simply a painful process. erstwhile individual loses something precious, they experience any pain and effort to look, especially where they can find it. Jesus says that we should search first the kingdom of God. It's like a buried treasure inside us.

What is God’s Kingdom? It is the power of God and the presence of God in the souls of the baptized. This treasure is hidden deep, but we gotta look for it. Sometimes you can find him immediately.

What is His righteousness? It was accomplished in our Lord Jesus Christ through his redeeming sacrifice for us. He has made a fair payment for the sins of mankind and for all my sins. I find this justice under the cross of Christ – there, through the act of repentance, my sins are forgiven, and the devil has no right to request justice, or punishment, which sin carries. Jesus did this justice on the cross.

If we search first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, everything else essential for our lives will be added to us.
