The Confederate press conference with the participation of 2 “ones” of the Confederate to the European Parliament, Konrad Berkowicz starting from the Lesser Poland and Świętokrzyski territory and Krystian Kamiński starting from the territory covering Warsaw and surrounding areas, as well as abroad and ships.
Konrad Berkovich:
– Yesterday, with votes of all parliamentary clubs outside the Confederacy, the Sejm voted to support, extend respective social benefits for Ukrainians who arrived in Poland after 24 February 2022.
The most excruciating benefit, in rule a set of benefits, are benefits paid to Ukrainian men of draft age. So we have a situation wherej Poland supports Ukraine financially and militarily with hard-earned money by the Polish taxpayer, and Young men of conscription age, alternatively of defending the country sit in Poland and we again with our money, with our taxes pay them social benefits. We think this is simply a scandal.
Another specified scandal is that if a Ukrainian arrived is at retirement age, after 1 period worked in Poland, he receives a Polish pension. The Polish pension which he did not work for, unlike Polish pensioners. And of course it is at their expense that they are paid.
We have tabled respective amendments which have eliminated various social benefits. All amendments were rejected. ...
Krystian Kamiński:
“The Confederation wanted social restrictions for Ukraine. Yesterday, as a substantive opposition, we tabled a number of amendments to limit access to certain benefits, specified as 800+, household care capital, Good Start benefits, and entitlement to benefits. Unfortunately, the majority of all another parties rejected our projects in the name that they simply deserve, “why they should not get at the expense of Poles”.
The majority of the parliament besides did not want even the doctors of psychiatrists from Ukraine to have compulsory cognition of Polish. Which is completely absurd for us, due to the fact that it is apparent that if individual wants to treat intellectual wellness in Poland, he should know Polish. But here, the majority again stated that what right do we gotta limit specified things.
The next amendment envisaged the termination of the agreement between Poland and Ukraine on pensions. due to the fact that it turns out that Ukrainians have the right to quit in Poland after a single contribution. Again, at the expense of a naturally Polish payer who will gotta finance it. And again, this majority says, "No, no, we don't want that, we don't want to limit their rights here!"
It turns out that, as the erstwhile government spoke with the mouth of the spokesperson of the Ministry of abroad Affairs, that they are servants of the Ukrainian people, so the current government continues this policy. ...
As a Confederate, we say unequivocally that Poles should be the first. It should be Poland that comes first and so we should act for these values.
Unfortunately, it is not that the Polish payer can bear everything and nothing will happen to him. Nope. It will cost him, and we see this reflection in our budget. Therefore, we do not agree to this and in the future we will besides be making amendments that will limit social constraints for the Ukrainians.
