Polish MFAs against “the creation of concentration camps to resolve conflict”

Poland has taken a clear stance on the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, publishing an authoritative message from the Ministry of abroad Affairs.

Warsaw confirmed its support for Israel's right to be and defend, but at the same time powerfully condemned actions that lead to civilian deaths and deepen the humanitarian crisis.

"Poland recognises Israel's right to defend and make in a safe environment within internationally recognised borders."

This confirms the existing position, in line with the global consensus. Poland does not question Israel's right to self-defense, but does not stay silent erstwhile its costs are borne by those not engaged in the fight.

"However, it does not accept the number of casualties in the Gaza Strip killed by Israeli forces in their declared quest to destruct Hamas's combat and organizational capabilities."

The MFA clearly indicates that war activities are eluded by proportions. Poland does not recognise as acceptable attacks that lead to mass casualties among civilians, regardless of military justification.

"The message of Poland is clear: there is no and there will never be Poland's consent to the usage of restrictions on access to humanitarian aid to people affected by armed conflict in achieving military or political objectives ..."

It's a fragment that sounds full of strength. Poland points out that it does not recognise any pretexts for blocking aid to civilians. Hunger, deficiency of drugs and water cannot be treated as a means of pressure.

"...to usage hunger as a weapon against civilians; to make concentration camps to resolve conflict."

Referring to the word "concentration camps" is the strongest point of the communication. The MFA refers to the most hard historical experience of Poland to emphasize the unacceptableness of actions against the civilian population in Gaza. It's not just a language of protest, it's a signal that ethical boundaries have been crossed.

However, the Communication is not limited to the situation in Gaza. Poland besides expresses its opposition to policies in the West Bank of Jordan.

"Poland condemns the force of settlers against Palestinian residents of the West Bank of Jordan and powerfully urges Israeli authorities to guarantee the protection of Palestinian civilians."

The MFA notes a increasing wave of force committed by Israeli settlers. Poland calls on the Israeli authorities to guarantee the safety of all residents of the occupied areas – not just their citizens.

"Poland calls for the cessation of illegal settlement activities in occupied Palestinian territories, which leads to escalation of the conflict and undermines the foundations of a future two-state solution."

This is the most crucial political declaration for the future of the region. Poland is unequivocally in favour of a two-state solution and indicates that the Israeli settlement in the West Bank destroys the chance for lasting peace.

At the same time, the Ministry of abroad Affairs announced the "Humanitarian Aid 2025 for the mediate East" contest, in which it allocates PLN 10 million to aid operations in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon. This is simply a applicable dimension of the declared policy: Poland not only speaks, but besides works – supporting hospitals, humanitarian missions and educational projects. Between 2023 and 2024 Poland donated over 50 million PLN to aid Palestinians.

Warsaw besides recalls that the Palestinian state was already recognized in 1988. Today's position, therefore, is not a fresh phrase, but a consequence of decades of politics: designation of the right of Palestinians to statehood, opposition to business and solidarity with victims of war.

In the face of dramatic events in the mediate East region, Poland speaks the language of law, past and compassion – and demands that civilians not be hostages to another people's politics.
