In the face of tectonic changes in global policy, caused by Donald Trump's authoritarian whims, we argue that fertilizer is simply a complex geopolitical problem. The American administration decided to resurrect the political troupe of Lukashenka, and Trump sent his emissary to Minsk shortly after his swearing in, precisely due to the fact that the Łukaszenko government has 2 nearly inexhaustible resources: political prisoners and potassium fertilizers. Where is Belarus on a curved planet map in Donald Trump's head? Turns out it's very close to Canada.
We will show a complex puzzle of economical and political interests, in which Trump's aggressive attitude towards Canada results in his rapprochement with the Belarusian satrap. And in the background is the world's food security, migration tendencies and large money.

"Centrally on the East" – that is the motto of the podcast Eastern Blockwhich is led by Paulina Siegień and Wojciech Siegień. We want to talk about countries that lie east of Poland, due to the fact that we believe that present the future of Europe and democracy is deciding. Therefore, our attention is directed towards Ukraine, which faces open and unprovoked Russian aggression. But we will besides visit another countries which, as a consequence of the Russian war against Ukraine, have faced a geopolitical crossroads and are looking for answers to questions about their place on the map of global alliances.

Paulina Siegień – writer and reporter associated with Tricity, Podlasie and Kaliningrad. He writes about Russia and another matters that he considers important, he besides regularly cooperates with fresh east Europe. She graduated from the University of Warsaw and Russian philology at the University of Gdańsk. Book author The city's a fairy tale. Many stories of Kaliningrad (2021), for which she received the Conrad Award.
Wojciech Siegień – ethnologist, psychologist, postgraduate of MISH University College, east Europe expert. He conducted field investigation in Belarus and Russia and since 2017 in Donbasa. He specializes in social and cultural militarisation issues. Along with Paulina Siegień runs a podcast On the Border.
