One of the biggest problems, which has been hampering all activity of national environments in Poland for at least 35 years, is the fear of coming off the couch.
In combination with our natural contentiousness and mistrust, the tendency to seymitate beyond measurement and tetrapilectomy gives this a universal recipe to always be right, constantly repeating that nothing will work, and all of this is surely agentry, manipulation and false flags. I get the impression that these are the motives for the abrupt escape of unquestionable nationalists from the main centre, where national politics can not only be written and spoken, but besides done, i.e. from the Fire Department Grzegorz Braun.
Pathos and applicable Usability
"So there were people from the pre-revolutionary period, trained in secret activities, people who were able to do a lot in this field, but who did not know how to adapt to the fresh conditions of action, who frequently did not even realize that there might be any policy too organizing secret circles and handing out illegal writings. These people were doing large work in the past period in the direction that national democracy outlined itself, but the political thoughts of the camp did not understand, they did not go forward with it, as well as the camp was adequate to be practically useful" [1] – so Roman Dmowski characterized a akin problem of ending 120 years ago. present we are not surviving in specified a titanium era, alternatively of secret circles we have, for now, inactive legal Clubs, and our writing was fortunately not illegal, but only blocked on the Internet. But the similarity of this failure of any colleagues to get more for Poland at the exit from the bubble beats to the eyes, of course with all respect for the "practical usefulness" of their work.
And yet Dmowski and the National League of Activities and supporters for transformation prepared gradually and effectively adequate that the insurgent realists in them blew another version of the Liberum Conspiro [2]. This opinion, built on speeches specified as the celebrated manifestation of the League (then Polish) on 3 May 1891, erstwhile young Dmowski led a patriotic march from the Warsaw archaeology through Ujazdowski Avenue towards the foundation stone of the Temple of Providence. “[...] among many [Russian] officials there was a belief that Poles were preparing to emergence up!” – the press reported dramatically [3]. The intrusive symbolism of the full action, its pathos, the usage of spiritual themes, the suspicion that the full initiative is hidden by abroad realism of insurgent elements – all of this would surely not be liked by contemporary critics Grzegorz Braun from circles close to “Polish Thought”. Only then Roman Dmowski led the march.
Policy and career
Of course, with a large deal of probability, however, it can be assumed that Grzegorz Braun is almost surely not Roman Dmowski. The leader of the Confederation of the Polish Crown can, of course, address his objections to his or her person, but we know what the leader of his or her intentions was responding to the critics after years. Dmowski, having in head further cooperation with the realists, did not hesitate to remind them of the emergence of national democracy: “For a long time, it was not addressed to this group, ignored or treated as a late, lifeless echo of past currents, plots and insurgent plans” [4] he complained about adding a later parliamentary phase of activity: “realists” did not realize that the tactics of national democracy in the beginnings of the parliamentary period were only a temporary necessity, they thought that it would not be able to abandon it, that it would be mindlessly held like a drunken fence” [5].
And here is the full thing, or the constant complaint of the form of pos actions. Braun and the Crown isn't just ignoring tactical necessity? Like who, but not even one. Przemysław Piasta nor would I think to teach tactics, due to the fact that tactics are dry, not only in terms of political form, but besides in terms of companionship, in which 1 seeks and does what is possible, and for the Polish national interest is right and beneficial. As endeci we have already collaborated in the “Polish Thought” environment with PSL and UPR, with Macerewicz, Olszewski and Giertych, any colleagues besides with Michał Kamiński and Joanna Kluzik-Rostkowska, and others (though not only) besides with JKM and Andrzej Lepper. Did any of us halt being an endeek, get infected with something or get soaked? Everyone can justice after themselves, but who was to go to the Deputy Minister of Digitization most likely already went and looking in our own narrow group of careers seems to be as comic as idle.
Form and words
As barren as criticism of the Braun Front's form of action. The happeningners on the non-system side were already in 3rd Poland and JKM, and especially Andrzej Lepper. I admit that, in addition to a certain nuance of priorities and the advantage of economical issues over ideas, I do not see much difference between the leader's dumping of the Ukrainian grain on the tracks, and the extinguishing of Khanukija or the breaking of Ukrainian flags by the president of the Confederation of the Polish Crown.
Surprisingly, however, for any words turn out to be more crucial than actions and words of consequence from Grzegorz Braun are hungry. knowing the noblest intentions, most likely behind the Distinguished Authors "7 Questions to Grzegorz Braun", published in "The Polish Thought" on January 5, 2026, I would like to point out, however, that erstwhile we talk of words, was not their excess accompanied by a deficiency of humility? Does our environment, or, more specifically, just a fewer of its representatives, gotta call out on behalf of both the LN and the ZLN, and the OWP, and the SN (especially in a situation where the hard origins of the National League described above have been forgotten – this historical one)? After all, it would be more modest to chop Mr Braun out immediately: “We, Nation!” After all, in the pleasant taste of many readers of “Polish Thoughts” of the series “07 come forward” Lt. Borewicz made a mockery of the fact that “with us everyone has a habit of speaking on behalf of the nation and what he thinks with his brother-in-law is, of course, the opinion of the majority” ...
PRLorealism and PhiloPRLism
Since we are at the PRL cinema – it is worth to stay over the People's Poland itself. There is no objection to the fact that in fresh years many people who feel a bond and sentiment have joined the Polish People's Republic of Poland. I personally accept this with satisfaction, due to the fact that 30 years ago, erstwhile I started my cooperation with our magazine, I besides tried to separate them from other, many then Endeck publications, including this note of PRLorealism. Realism, however, is not affirmation, which is simply a discrimination as crucial as this between spice and main dish.
Rational endeci see the positives of the People's Poland just verifying its achievements in terms of compliance with the Polish national interest, and they not only sigh for the past, erstwhile the milk was in bottles, the NRAs in prisons, and we were younger and optimistic. We have besides rightly always accused the main organization slam of the 3rd Poland that the attitude towards the past in general, and to the Polish People's Republic in peculiar should not be the main verifier of someone's patriotic right-mindedness. So why would any present want to apply the same, rejected method to Gregory Braun? “Tell me now what you think about the Polish People's Republic, due to the fact that we will not support you!” – after all, it is simply a priceckiewicz, only a rebours!
Trumposionism and Fire extinguisher
Another charge, which in the environment raises against the Fire Department, is its similarity (again, alternatively external) to... Trumpism and the presumption that braunism is so just another American thought for politics in the 3rd Republic. Well, this view is false to 1 word: GASNICA. No Trumpist, sincere or especially hired, would always rise his hand on Khanukia, nor would he call by name Zionist crimes, nor the lies of the Holocaust manufacture and global claims. And Mr. Braun could do it! And just as he should be credited, for raising at a very hard minute the motto of stopping the Ukrainianization of Poland, it was just as crucial to reconstruct the issue of anti-Zionism to the public debate in our country erstwhile (other than in the West) this subject was abandoned and the authoritative left, and our erstwhile colleagues, who had to humble themselves from Zionist Golden Cielce (as I erstwhile told in the AgainstCensur).
If we are looking for volunteers to become another tranche of the American agentship in Poland – it is much easier to find them in the neo-Confederation and especially the RN, not in the Crown. And if this 1 uses a transatlantic wave of escalation, frequently called imprecise right-wing populism – what's incorrect with that? While proclaiming political realism, it would be hard to be offended by the usage of the historical and geopolitical moment, if of course the global trend is able to satisfy with Polish spirit, and especially Polish national thought.
Poles and Russians
Yes, Polish and thinking. It is said that each quote in its entirety reduces the number of readers and specified a long text by half, so I will spare you this well-known Russian hatred stronger than love for Poland, but is not the situation akin to those who hatred America more? Or do they love more or do they at least like Russia? There was a time erstwhile we, publicists calling for Poland to establish a partnership, mutually beneficial relations with Russia were only a fewer in Poland. Not due to the fact that Russia was so powerful and dangerous, but due to the fact that it seemed so weak and insignificant. And yet – we said and wrote – the future of Poland and Poles comes down to uncovering its own way between the West and the East, without losing sight of close abroad people and regardless of who is sitting on thrones in the East and the West.
From this perspective, and without changing my head for respective decades, I reserve and remind you: the arrangement of Poland's relations with Russia will not be done by any organization that will self-identify as pro-Russian, due to the fact that it will neither gain support among Poles nor respect with Russians. This is how it was historically with the national democracy, which was able to act as a national representation of Poles towards Russia, due to the fact that neither in Warsaw nor Moscow had any doubts that Roman Dmowski and his camp were based on Polish interests. It did not even prevent Dmowski from writing “Moscals” [6].
Words, words and words
In general, catching Grzegorz Braun for words as a live reminder of not endeckie reservations, but brought to head by those who do not realize what national movement is and what it strives for. As Dmowski wrote: "What appeared as the basis of national direction in the publications of the organization was the perfect of independence, which was identified with the applicable uprising program, by the fact that the most serious lessons of democratic and national publications were silenced, and that he was full of quotes from speeches and articles of immature students, not yet adults to realize the essence of the direction, or from works of the old emigrant, kept in the national camp as an honorable souvenir of the past" [7]. This is more or little the sound of the constant "and Walus it, and Olszański that...".
The public image of Mr Braun is built not only on the consciously controversial form and archaized Polish with a deep voice, but on a consistent message, in Polish consciousness clearly associated with patriotism. It includes the request of a strong Poland, besides militarily, due to the fact that the pacifism and the pursuit of unilateral disarmament was never compatible with the Polish state's ration. There is simply a belief that the main punishment for betraying the homeland is due, like a bullet in the head for desertion in the face of the enemy – due to the fact that Polish nationalism is the utmost other of both blind and hysterical cowardice. In all these meanings, Grzegorz Braun, who is not an endek, seems to be closer to the essence of what is Polish than those who would like to measurement it by force and not so much match it with a pattern, but alternatively reluctant to reject it, as supposedly unworthy of historical tradition and theoretical assumptions. My colleagues will forgive me, but by spinning their noses at Poles watching the Kamrats do not disagree much from... mainstream elites, always pompous, that their nation did not grow up again.
Right, mine and mine.
Even erstwhile Mr Braun and the Fire Department yet deserve any praise, it is thrown with a snack and a sense of superiority, the same as it erstwhile showed... erstwhile Dmowski was desperately trying to keep up with his followers: “Periodicly he repeated triumphant refrain in them: here national democracy went into our backyard, here she learned reason from us, here she took over our policy...” [8]. The temptation to be right, especially matrimony and publicity, is peculiarly strong. In both cases, though, it is always good to think: is it truly worth it this time? Is it truly essential to get so excited, to announce further, even the most superb reservations, and all this in the undisclosed hope that something may go wrong, that possibly 1 of the promised black scenarios will come true, to the legislature Pact of both Confederates of PiSem, or that Grzegorz Braun will break the band and it will turn out that underneath Trump's curls is hidden? And all this just to be able to say, “Well, we immediately said it would fail!” and go back to the couch?
Think Poland and patriotism
So much my advice, you'll do as Colonel Kwiatkowski said. I know that as long as I see Matthew Piskorski in front of Grzegorz Braun, it is our colleague who is simply a strong warrant that the black scenarios will not be fulfilled. due to the fact that Matthew would be a problem for PiSu in any effort to deal with the Fire Department, not the another way round, and Matthew is the 1 who together with col. ed. John Engelgard and Col. president of Przemysław Piasta carried out the work of renewing “Polish Thought”. Works which should be further developed and strengthened, as indicated by Roman Dmowski:
"There were 3 ways before people trying to organize the Polish society politically in the late last century:
– or mention to patriotism, search its support, taking it as it is, fueling it even in its bad places, no substance what effect it will have on the national cause;
– either to fight him, to rebuke his delinquency, to make him liable for all national disasters, to defend his own ranks from patriotic zeal as the top danger;
– or, finally, considering that Polish politics can only be built on strong patriotic ground, and, on the another hand, seeing the dangers arising from mediocre political education of our patriotism – leaning firmly on patriotism, but taking a stand for it, not passive but active, not flattering and not giving up to its bad sides, only working on its upbringing, purifying it of its flaws and educating it the advantages to which a healthy sense of national and sincere, hot love of the homeland, which are the undoubted properties of our nation, gives emergence to it." [9].
And this is the strength to break the passivity and go with Polish patriotism and work on it together I want all of us, not only for this fresh year, 2026. God bless!
