Szymon Hołownia, leader of Poland 2050 and candidate of the 3rd Way in the presidential election, leaves no illusions – demands clear explanations about the backing of Sławomir Mentzen's campaign, a Confederate policy that has strengthened in 3rd position in the polls. During a Friday conversation in Radio "One" Holovnia expressed doubts about the sources of backing for Mentzen's campaign, suggesting that they could come from abroad.

Mentzen's run under scrutiny
Sławomir Mentzen, a Confederate politician, has gained considerable support in fresh weeks, which is simply a origin of frustration among competitors. Hołownia pointed out the momentum of Mentzen's campaign, which, he noted, began before the authoritative start of the election race.
– He will gotta explain himself from the backing of his run and from its momentum, due to the fact that he led it even before the run officially launched. And I would like to know where he has the money for all of this, and I guess I'm not the only one," said Holownia.
The 3rd Way politician besides referred to the situation in another countries specified as Romania, where there has been controversy over the financing of electoral campaigns in the past.
– We saw things in Romania, we saw things in another places. I would like to know where these tens of thousands of banners are from, which are hanging in Poland today, and I hope that the Confederate will clearly account for this, due to the fact that these are tens of millions of zlotys," he added.
Holovnia does not quit the race
During the conversation, Holovnia unequivocally denied rumors of his resignation from the presidential election. The leader of Poland 2050 stressed that he took leave of absence to full engage in the campaign.
– present I've focused on the run in a way, you might say, exclusive. I think I was the first talker of the Sejm to decide to take a vacation," he said.
The Hołównia besides expressed the belief that within 2 months it could importantly influence the result of the elections.
– I think we've been able to do a lot for the past 2 months. I remind you that the erstwhile presidential campaign, after the replacement of the candidate, practically lasted that long, possibly even a small less," he added.
Will Mentzen hold his position?
Although Sławomir Mentzen has gained popularity in fresh weeks, The Holovnia believes that his “honey month” will not last forever.
– Mentzen gains much support and gains in polls at the expense of Karol Nawrocki. But it won't last forever," said Holownia.
