The year 2025 in Poland promises to be a time of crucial changes for households and businesses. The government has announced fresh programs subsidies and reductionsto improve the financial situation of citizens and advance green investment. Check who and under what conditions can benefit from these solutions.
Electricity subsidies
Government plans to proceed the program freezing of electricity prices for households, but introduces fresh income thresholds for beneficiaries. In 2025:
- Annual income households PLN 120 000 will be able to number on an average fee 200 PLN per month.
- Singles with income below PLN 60,000 will receive additional support of 250 PLN per month.
The programme will besides include backing for tiny and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Depending on energy consumption, subsidies can be paid from PLN 3000 to PLN 15,000 per year.
Relief for thermomodernisation
New thermomodernisation programme offers additional taxation incentives for those who choose to invest in renewable energy sources (RES):
- Installation of photovoltaic panels: The maximum relief will be PLN 50,000.
- Replacement of the oven for ecological purposes: Deduction to PLN 30 000 income.
- Building thermal insulation: Expenditure up to amount PLN 15,000 they can be deducted 100%.
According to the Ministry of Climate, the programme aims to reduce CO2 emissions and to reduce heating costs on average 20-30% during the year.
Extension of the relief to the child
In 2025, changes in household allowances will be introduced:
- Families with 2 children can number to PLN 3000 For all child.
- On the 3rd and each further kid relief will increase to PLN 4500.
- Additional one-off support PLN 1500 will receive low income families (to PLN 50,000 per year).
These changes aim at encouraging the establishment of families and improving the surviving conditions of multi-children families.
Aid to farmers
Under the agricultural sector support programme, the government introduces:
- Aid for organic fertilisers: Any farmer who chooses to acquisition reduced-emission fertilisers will receive a premium of PLN 150 per hectare.
- Support for tiny farms: Farms with a surface to 10 ha will be able to receive yearly subsidies of PLN 5000.
- Afforestation funds: Any farm that allocates part of the land to afforestation will receive backing for PLN 12,000 per hectare.
According to estimates by the Ministry of Agriculture, these activities may increase agricultural production by 10% until 2027.
Public transport subsidies
In 2025 fresh measures for the improvement of public transport will be launched:
- Municipalities and powiats may apply for backing to acquisition green buses. Each electrical or hybrid vehicle shall be subject to a surcharge for 70% of acquisition costs, which may even carry PLN 1.5 million for the bus.
- Discounts for passengers: Students and students will be able to benefit from an additional relief of 50% for monthly tickets.
How to apply?
In order to benefit from subsidies and reductions, applications will should be submitted within the time limit. All procedures will be implemented through the platform ePUAP and local offices. The government announces a simplification of the application process to let the handling of applications within 14 working days.
