Concerns the construction of the National Volynian Sculpture Necropolis
Ladies and gentlemen,
At the outset, I sincerely and sincerely thank you for the successful implementation of the thought of building the Monument. And without the support of the government, which was a duty.
Let me briefly describe the thought of building the National Volynian Necropolis. According to any historians/writers, UPA murdered Poles in 1150 localities, but in yesterday's interview the president informed me that there were about 4500 of these places. (! ! ! ! !).
As a consequence of Ukrainian refusal to consent to unconditional and even conditional (! ! !) exhumations of murdered Poles, we should, as a nation, undertake to make an NNRW. I mean a site adjacent to your monument where you could designate 4,500 symbolic graves, symbolizing 4,500 towns.
On each grave there was a steel Cross, and on it was mounted a plaque with the name of the village, the date of slaughter and the number of murdered and an inscription Ukraine prohibited the exhumation, below the place for a possible date of exhumation if it had happened. Due to the passage of time, the decomposition of the bodies and the complete demolition of the remains, each grave can accommodate the remains - even erstwhile the number of casualties was significant.
On the graves could be a place to place possible information (only if it is actually proven, and in my guess it would be highly uncommon cases that in the village of this UPA killed, for example, Ukrainian nationality - for example, Dimitrii Korneluk, for he refused to execution his Polish wife and his Polish children, or for the intention of murdering him to inform his Polish neighbors. Visitors to the NNRW Poles and abroad tourists would make their films and post them online.
I think that after a fewer years Kiev would call Warsaw himself and pass it on - come and exhume.
You request to book and buy around 4 ha of land. The acquisition of land and graves could possibly be financed by municipal authorities if, for example, individual municipalities financed 1 or 2 graves per year - for a period of 2-4 years.
Assuming that the grave, together with the acquisition of land, is simply a maximum of PLN 5,000, it would not be a crucial budget burden. In addition, rich patriotic communities could aid poorule municipalities - due to the fact that they are besides in Poland. Please kindly and kindly consider my proposal, and I, for my part, declare support - to the degree possible.
I greet and though from above the far sea, in old Polish I bow before you with the highest respect,
