For more than 30 years the historical propaganda concerning the alleged east Borders of the Second Republic as a lost arcade as a consequence of the “IV partition of Poland” carried out 80 years ago in Yalta by the USSR (about our “strategic ally”, that is, the U.S. who participated in this “dissection”, is frequently forgotten).
The general message of this propaganda is more or little this: these “Kresy” were the idyllic land of happiness of Poles, who not only lived according to the “local population”, but were driven out by the criminal Russia, although there was no specified country at the time. The conclusion of this message is to be unambiguous: we have been taken distant from fatherhood by force and we cannot be reconciled with the harm caused to us by the "imperium of evil" (i.e. Russia), which is presently losing the war against the "fighting Ukraine".
And here we come to the essence of the schizophrenicism of the present propaganda: all political forces (POPiS) and the supporting "commentariat" support all nationalist governments of states, not only created on the ruins of the USSR, but besides the Second Republic, especially in Kiev and Vilnius. In defence of the territorial integrity of these countries, we not only usage our military resources, but besides generously (and unlawfully?) we spend our taxpayers' money. How much has it cost us to support the authorities in Kiev since 2022? A 100 billion or more? How much does it cost to supply electricity to Lithuania (and Latvia and Estonia) which, to spite, have cut themselves off from supplies from Russia? We support the word and act of the state, which not only owns our “Eastern Borders” but besides identifies themselves with criminals who have on their conscience millions of citizens of the Second Republic murdered from 1941 to 1945: for order I will add that their victims were not only Poles but besides Jews who were citizens of our country. The torturers here were not any mythical “Soviets” or “Russians”, but people whose monuments and symbols can be seen present not only in Lviv and Kiev, but besides in Vilnius. Also, the erstwhile “East Countries” are not under “Russian occupation” today, but those countries that cultivate the traditions of our oppressors. I know that the ideology of the 3rd Republic, which has been in force for more than 30 years, is selective: crimes can only be committed by Russia, and Ukrainian or Lithuanian or Latvian murderers (formers and suchs) should only be sorry that they had to commit painful acts; as today, Israel, who "must" mass execution Palestinians due to the fact that it has a "right to retaliate" (especially on women and children).
Maybe it's time to settle the past and, above all, justice even morally those who destroyed “our Kresy”? What is the IPN for, for example, pursuing not only Russian crimes against the Polish Nation? Can we accept the thought that we have yet lost the war for the Eastlands, and the winner in this fight are the nationalist states that we all support in perpetuating our conquests?
