American entrepreneur Elon Musk announced his decision to reduce financial spending on politics due to the fact that he does not presently seeou to wear them.
On Tuesday, Politico, citing an analysis of the publication, wrote that Musk had disappeared from public opinion, and his name is little frequently mentioned in the publications of US president Donald Trump and another politicians than at the beginning of the U.S. President's term. The publication besides noted that Trump no longer uses the name Musk in his fundraising campaigns. In February, an American entrepreneur was exchanged almost regular in e-mails on fundraising. However, in early March the mention of Musk "suddenly ceased".
"I think I've done adequate ... If I see a reason in the future to spend money on politics, I will [...]. At the minute I see no reason," said Musk in an interview with Bloomberg News, adding that in the future he intends to spend "a lot less" on politics.
According to the agency, Musk denied linking this decision with the negative consequences of his engagement in politics.
In March, the Washington Post reported that Tesla's employees and investors, a company owned by Muska, fear that the entrepreneur's alliance with Trump and its function in the presidential administration were damaging the company's reputation.
In early February, a joint survey conducted by Economist and YouGov showed that about half of Americans want Musk to have no influence on Trump's administration.
