As there was a real issue of defence of Poland, that is, the barrier at the border, even though we were in opposition we supported the government project, you were against it. More, if I remember correctly, you (Joński) flew between the legs of Polish soldiers on the border and made it difficult. It can be said that in the hybrid war against Poland you were on Putin's side. You made it hard for Polish soldiers to defend our security. This is outrageous.
Now what Donald Tusk does, which is for all those who are long in politics, obvious, he creates a certain smokescreen. He wants to get free of the competence, get free of the work for Polish security, transfer to his colleague von der Leyen.
At the moment, Poland should be primarily afraid about its own safety. It should work with another countries that take defence seriously, specified as the United Kingdom – outside the European Union, France, Turkey – outside the European Union. This, on the another hand, should be at the level of the Union of States that care about security, taking this seriously, but we cannot at this point give this decision to the dysfunctional bodies of the European Union.
Let me remind you that you were all for the quick, intensive aid of Ukraine. What did Germany do in the first weeks? They were passing... helmets. And they couldn't even do it effectively. So if you want to give decision now on the defence of Poland to the European Commission it will be the biggest political mistake you will make in your career.
