Until recently, it seemed that this issue, who could possibly get pregnant, was apparent to everyone, and especially to large girls and boys. However, in fresh years, mainly through widespread leftist and liberal ideologies, controversy has begun to grow here and even Europarlament is dealing with the issue, which is trying to settle this in the form of a vote. Within little than 2 months, 2 votes were held in Parliament of the European Union and opposing decisions were reached. In both cases, it was a substance of adding amendments to the papers on which they were held that only biological women could get pregnant.
In the first case, amendments to the resolution of the alleged European Citizens' Initiative were voted on, "My vote, my choice: for a safe and accessible abortion". At the request of the ECR Group, a vote on Amendment 7 was held on 17 December, which introduced a provision that reads: “ Bearing in head that only biological women can become pregnant and have children”. The consequence of the vote on this amendment was 320 votes in favour, 269 against and 39 abstentions. The amendment passed due to the fact that 51% of MEPs supported it. We besides have, in this case, a name list of voters and we can check who voted. It is not amazing that Mr Biedron and Śmiszek were against this amendment, but it may surprise that the majority of Polish MPs from the EPP Group, namely those from KO and PSL, were among the detainees. This means that they most likely had doubts about whether only “biological women can get pregnant and have children”. Do those who voted on them in Poland besides have difficulties in determining who could have children?
After little than 2 months, the EP voted again on 12 February 2026, this time on the recommendations to the Council on the EU priorities for the 70th session of the UN Commission on Women's Status. As before, an amendment was tabled to add the entry to the resolution: " Bearing in head that only biological women can get pregnant". This time, however, the results of the vote, in the same case, were diametrically different from in the first case described. “For” voted 200 MPs, “against” 233, while 107 MPs abstained. It can be seen that in just a fewer weeks, the 2 votes were divided, until 120 deputies lost their conviction that only a biological female could get pregnant. What happened to them that changed their view of specified a fundamental matter? What peculiar experiences have they experienced – what revelations?
There have been cases in past where circumstantial individuals have expressed the belief that not only women can be pregnant. 1 that I can mention is that of not just anyone but Prussian Field Marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, who was the most titled and celebrated figure in Prussian-German history, comparable only to Paul von Hindenburg. Well, during the run in 1814, in command of Prussian troops against Napoleon, he suffered a tense breakdown, began to have delusions and to think that he was pregnant with an elephant in which he was introduced by the French. In those days many considered Blücher to be an unstable person, be consecutive out as a madman, but today, in light of what truths it is, and with what result, to vote for Europarlament, it would should be considered as a completely average person, or even a preemptive precursor.
