June is not rainbow. He's Catholic and patriotic

It's started. As all year, June turns into a festival of rainbow flags, parades, advertising campaigns and painted logotypes. Corporations change their profile colors, politicians outrun themselves in declarations of sensitivity and tolerance, and liberal-left media fill us with slogans about “a period of pride”.

But arrogant of what?

An ideology that identifies sex with mood? By believing that individual can be a female today, a man tomorrow, and the day after next day whoever they want? From a stream that breaks down a conventional household and tries to transform the planet according to its relativistic pattern?

As a Catholic, as a Pole, and as a man of common sense, I cannot agree with that.

But I'm not just writing it to complain. As a counter-revolutionist, I want to stand clearly in the context of this “monthly pride” and propose something else: a period of pride in being a Pole.

Pride in Polishness.

Proud of those who gave their lives for Homeland.

Proud of people who were not ashamed of faith, tradition and patriotism.

May June be a period of pride for our great-grandfathers who built the country after the partitions. From anti-communist opposition activists who had more courage than many today's “activist”. Of the families of many children, of the actual teachers of the vocation, of the priests who were not afraid to proclaim the truth.

But above all – remember that June is the period dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. A heart that loves all man until the sacrifice of the cross. Which beats besides those who present reject His teaching.

We do not request to wear a rainbow band to show that we are “good people”. All it takes is prayer, Eucharist and courage to publically argue the rainbow revolution – clearly highlighting its Catholic values.

Since we are to have “a period of pride” – let it be pride of faith, pride of Polishness, pride of those generations who have not sold themselves to the applause of the world.
