“West lands – or are they truly recovered?” under this slogan, on 6-7 February in Szalejów Górny, close Kłodzka, a conference was held... Exactly, not the Western Institute from years of glory, not even veterans of the Polish Army, but the Confederation of the Kłodzka Crown, or local branch of the KKP.
In fact, this very fact could already be considered a success and the article could be concluded. And yet it is worth looking not only at the external sound, but besides at the inside. Thanks to the invitation from the organizers, I have had this opportunity, for which I warmly thank you.
Uncomfortable topic
Over the years, we were not allowed to talk about recovered lands in Poland. Sounds ridiculous, but it's true. The right-wing female was confused with anti-Communism (perhaps consciously and commissioned) by the interest of Poland as specified with the communicative of the political formation ruling in the times of the Polish People's Republic, and the embarrassed by her own past the left tried to distance herself from anything that could be regarded as a decline after the PZPR. As a result, mainly political parties in the country have ignored for more than 30 years the problems and threats that arise and appear for the western and northern parts of the country.
And they weren't missing. Although no 1 has changed our borders since 1989, the acquisition of land by foreigners, after entering the European Union, despite the poorly constructed "protection period", continued to be the best and as 1 of the speakers rightly pointed out: if present we draw a map of these areas according to the real structure of property, it might turn out that this Poland remained rather small.
Something that should connect
And these lands are our history. Not only this big, pompous, hubby (also being censored), but besides this small, rather recent, or tragedy of people who survived the bander massacre, who, as part of the post-war resettlements, were deported there and created an first Polish culture, which he spoke excellently about. Stanisław Srokowski. This is the communicative of the families to which, after the Vistula Action, they come... frequently the same flags who tried to execution them during the German occupation. Finally, it is simply a communicative of hard work in the improvement of these lands, and then securing against German rematch. Poles, besides Polish communists, passed this exam to a large extent, despite the adversities. It's something that should connect.
A diverse group

Ambitions of self-education
What were we talking about in those 2 days? Concerning the threats to the Polishness of our lands, both from German revisionism and through the weakness of the authorities of the 3rd Republic of Poland; about the essential and hard steps that the authorities of the Polish Republic had to take to bring these lands closer to us; about what we can do present to correct the mistakes of the last decades. I don't think there was a dimension that wouldn't be touched at this conference. From social to historical to economic. Everything is supplemented by a circular of questions to speakers. individual will say that in rule “why”, since most of the country inactive lives in (and less) blissful unawareness, but Kraków was not built immediately. It is an amazing thing, for a long time unusual, that in Poland there is simply a political formation that inspires specified ambitions. Keep it up.
Deep breath
Minus? In fact, it's hard to call it a "minus," but I just couldn't agree and identify with all the speeches. But this is simply a conference, not a rally – although it is possibly dangerous to call people from KKP to a large coalition with the sold PiS, who is liable for a number of errors mentioned during the meeting. The last thing I want for the “coroners” is to repeat self-defense errors, including their effects. And yet the fact of organizing specified an event is simply a certain promise that here we have been created in the country, a bit of a surprise, a formation that waves its hand at the erstwhile divisions, and asks “who for Poland and who against” and engages the resources available to ourselves to answer the question of what it means to be “for Poland” in these conditions. This is like a deep breath, due to the fact that many years of intellectual marazmus and bringing political discussion to memes or blooms of stupidity from the "young generation", or absolute careers and opportunists, increasingly poignant structures of PO and PiS.
Thank you and keep it up. There are quite a few neglected issues, quite a few anthills to stick in. due to the fact that it is these topics which are considered “forbidden” that form what is most harmful in the III Polish Republic.
