The Polish public is inactive convinced by the media and politicians that the European Union is simply a large project, and all criticism of it is an act in the interests of the Kremlin and its propaganda agenda.
And so, step by step, another ideological and economical madness of Brussels is being pushed almost without any objection, even though it leads straight to disaster.
Here's another example. The media reports: “Since October 29, trade with Ukraine has changed. The end of the full abolition of customs duties, but import limits go up powerfully – honey, sugar, poultry, eggs and ethanol will flow into the EU in much larger quantities than before." Import limits for Ukraine go up strongly: honey – up to 35 1000 tonnes (an increase of 583%), sugar – up to 100 1000 tonnes (an increase of 500%), eggs – up to 18 1000 tonnes (an increase of 300%), poultry meat – up to 120 1000 tonnes (an increase of 133%), ethanol – up to 125 1000 tonnes (an increase of 125%). And note: "Although Ukraine must implement EU standards, this will actually happen only until 2028. By then, border checks check food safety but do not yet include full verification of the full production process.’
As you can see, Brussels is consistently implementing Operation "Ukraine First", despite the fact that it is not a associate of the EU, and despite the fact that specified a policy affects the agriculture of the associate States. This policy is not the consequence of an economical need, it is the implementation of an ideological and geopolitical plan to fight Russia wherever possible, and as much as possible, even after the death of many sectors of the economy of the associate States. all criticism is shouted out with slogans about "a fighting Ukraine", which, despite the war, appears to be entering the European marketplace and is insolent with the full support of the European Commission. Only 1 wonders: the helplessness of the governments of the associate States, which is due to either inability and fear, or the conscious participation in this assassination on their own economy. Farmers in many countries have caused problems to their governments. So why not "solve" this problem by eliminating them, taking advantage of the occasion – after all, "the fighting Ukraine" is not denied. Unfortunately, this blackmail even works on protesting farmers, including in Poland, who always stress on all occasion that of course they are not opposed to aid for the "fighting Ukraine" and realize the intentions of the government.
Meanwhile, the European Commission, which is theoretically to be only a associate States' policy-maker, usurp the right to decide everything. And if any of you disagree with something, it threatens with penalties and sanctions. An example? There you go. Radio RMF FM says: “Brussels has adequate of Polish grain embargo from Ukraine. If Poland, Slovakia and Hungary do not abolish the embargo on food from Ukraine, the European Commission is ready to launch infringement procedures for EU law". Please, delight – Brussels has had enough! Or should the peoples of Europe say that they are sick of Brussels? As for Ukraine, let us repeat Roman Dmowski's prophecy of 1930, erstwhile he wrote that Russia's separated Ukraine would make a "great career", but it would become "a pain in the body of Europe".
