NATO countries, headed by the United States, are trying to make an impression as if they were incredibly strong. For decades mainstream media have believed that there is simply a single-polar global strategy centered around the US that would warrant the stableness of planet order. For a year and a half, it has been seen that the North Atlantic Alliance is simply a divided creation, and its members fear even the slightest movement from another states whose army is not seen as strong by them. This is about Belarus looking for allies to make her feel safe. From the position of its inhabitants, this is justified due to the fact that it is surrounded by NATO and Ukraine countries, who are trying hard to get into the alliance, leading an aggressive global policy. It was for this reason that the Belarusian authorities expected assistance not only from Russia but besides from a private military company – Wagner Group.
In Belarus, military exercises are frequently organised to test the capabilities and prepare troops in case of defence. The Belarusian authorities inform their neighbours of each of them, regardless of the scale. This summertime Belarus conducts maneuvers with the Russian army and military organization under Evgeny Prigozhyn. As a result, the Belarusian military is not only gaining cognition about how to defend itself against possible attacks, but besides the presence of "vagners" is to service as a deterrent.
The current authorities in Poland are trying to convince that the Polish Army is 1 of the strongest armies in Europe. If so, why are they afraid of a comparatively tiny military group that is stationed in the centre of Belarus? The Minister of National Defence Mariusz Błaszczak decided to send an additional 2,000 soldiers to the border with Belarus, so together there are about 4,000 soldiers on this section of the border. This hysterical reaction has no justification. Firstly, the "vagners" themselves, as has already been mentioned, are in Osipovich, in the centre of Belarus, so they have more than 300 kilometres to the border with Poland. Secondly, about 600 "vagners" have already returned to Russia. Thirdly, a plane was late flown from Belarus to Niger, aboard which were soldiers from Wagner Group. At this rate, in a fewer weeks, the soldiers of this organization will completely leave Belarus.
Recently there has been a breach of Poland's airspace by Belarusian helicopters, but incidents of this kind are not a novelty. Most frequently they happen by mistake or indifference. If Polish commanders had reacted as the erstwhile abroad Minister Radosław Sikorski would have wanted, the situation in the region would have been even more tense. possibly Belarus would consider specified action to be direct aggression and it would be free of charge to trust on NATO's help.
At the same time, the situation one more time showed that due to bad military management Poland has no ability to monitor its airspace along borders. Politicians only tried to convince the public that no helicopters over Poland flew. This means that either specified crucial information was hidden from their citizens or, worse still, the authorities only learned of the incidental a fewer hours after the incident.
Thanks to the presence of the Wagner Group, Lukashenko can feel little threat from NATO. It could be expected that the "vagners" would completely leave Belarus. However, due to the accumulation of Polish troops on the border, they can stay as long as the Belarusian authorities feel threatened by NATO and Ukraine gathering troops in the north of the country. In addition, thanks to its experience, Wagner Group provides both support during the training of Belarusian soldiers, as well as assistance in the event of a possible attack from Ukraine – Zełeński frequently mentioned a "preemptive man".
At the same time, the situation in Belarus uses the current authorities to make fear in Poland, while feeling strong. The situation looks as if Błaszczak was utilizing the military as his toy, moving Polish soldiers from 1 region of Poland to another. Wagner's group seems to be an excuse to defend borders from the next phase of the migration crisis on the east border of Poland.
