Philip Obara: But it was a campaign! Biggest winners – Grzegorz Braun and Krzysztof Stanowski

pch24.pl 4 weeks ago

But it was a campaign! For the first time in my life, I followed an election race with feelings another than disgust, boredom, and fatigue. In the socio-media sense, this is due to the phenomenon of the Confederation (which brings any honesty and authenticity into politics) and to Krzysztof Stanowski, who took on the function of Stańczyk and disarmed the rigid from the lies and appearances of political discourse. I consider Grzegorz Braun, who, unlike Sławomir Mentzen, showed courage and prudence in the field of activation of the conservative electorate.

The first emotion after the election came down. We have a president who is not a Tusk pen and which we can hope he will not be as subordinate to Kaczyński as the outgoing Andrzej Duda. We have gained time to consolidate anti-system forces, and the first step should be the summary and interior accounting – both political (which I propose in this text) and social (to which I will dedicate the next text).

Finally, individual says,

I personally wrote that if I had the opportunity, I would declare Krzysztof Stanowski a man of the year. I think that no 1 has done as much for Poland after 1989 as he has. Why? due to the fact that he didn't do anything and said it out loud. Unlike those who have done nothing but shout the opposite. He showed that the king (meaning the political-media strategy as such) is bare and no spells will change that. He's a clown in the best sense of the word. He forced on all candidates (except Trzaskowski, which was a serious stumbling and serious point for Bezhura) to appear in the studio and stand for a normal, long and honest conversation. He exposed the absurdity of dominant propaganda in a bravado style. He pierced a balloon of pompous organization rhetoric and showed that it was no longer working. He yet accelerated the death of tv formatting reasoning Poles in favour of the 2 largest political parties.

Secondly, the Confederation as a social phenomenon. The younger generation, coming to mind, showed that it could be different – that 1 can focus on the naturalness of the kind of being and on authenticity. Young Generation not buy political fraud. The voice of this generation became not only Stanowski, but besides Sławomir Mentzen, who rightly reminded Karol Nawrock that he was unnecessarily ashamed of his past, which only allowed him to gain from any man who did not succumb to the false belief that all force was wrong.

The nicest surprise

To be honest, I did not anticipate that Grzegorz Braun as an uncompromising folk tribune, whose favourite tool is simply a public dintojra, would behave as he did. I did not anticipate this from the Nestor of Polish anti-systemists – Janusz Korwinie-Mikke. Sorry, I underestimated you.

However, it turned out that they were the 2 who had the discretion to see what was at the stake of these choices (not the overthrow of the system, but the simplification of the impact of evil on our country) and the courage not to get free of the phrases about “own reason” that became a real bowl of Pilate for Sławomir Mentzen and Ewa Zajądzkowska-Hernik.

Braun walking on the end of the run after all televisions and convincing that 1 should vote for Karol Nawrocki behaved like a actual statesman who understands that Poland's welfare is more crucial than the interests of its faction, and even its own image in the eyes of overzealous people who believe (not in accordance with Catholic moral theology and centuries-old practice of the Church) that voting for lesser evil entails the guilt of participating in this evil. On the another hand, Korwin proved that I was right erstwhile I was half jokingly repeating the paraphrase of the words of Marshal Piłsudski: He who was not a Corvinist erstwhile he was young will be a pig in old age.

Confederacy...

Next, we should mention those Confederate politicians who besides stood up to the task and straight supported Karol Nawrocki, namely Krzysztof Bosak, Anna Bryłka or Robert Winnicki (now active as a commentator of public life). They all showed that they separate tactics from strategies. The strategy assumes the overthrow of the system, but ad hoc and one-off tactics advocated supporting a peculiar candidate guaranteeing little havoc in our country.

And the neo-Confederation?

Mentzen's defenders argue that he said that he "sees no reason to vote for Trzaskowski". Come on, guys, it's hard for him to see! And the fact that most of his voters would vote for Nawrocki (if 1 could believe the polls) was apparent from the beginning. It wasn't to convince individual that Trzaskowski was evil, but to activate people to go to elections.

Mentzen has entered into a twisted rhetoric about “own understanding”, “own conscience” and that it is impossible to “give votes” due to the fact that voters are not “works of potatoes”. The intent of this rhetoric was to distract. due to the fact that it was not about any "voting of votes", or telling anyone what to do, how to think and how to vote. It was to show courage and prudence and to tell the public who SAMEMU was voting for. The voters will do whatever they want, but we had the right to require from serious policy under specified circumstances that he would not beat around the bush – that he would be willing to take on Poland, not on his own interests.

In my opinion, Menzten abused the assurance of any voters and showed how disconnected he is from reality. He believed that he became the 3rd force in Poland, and you remember that many specified a star of the "third force" went out as rapidly as it exploded on the company. I require politics to have a clear position based on cold calculations, not to show its dilemmas, to shed regrets on erstwhile governments (despite all these regrets of legitimacy), as Zajączkowska did, and to waggle why she is offended at someone.

And 1 more thing, you don't talk to the devil. After a visit to Mentzen by Trzaskowski, there were many comments that he ran over the host. I wouldn't go that far, but 1 thing's for certain – this slimy, pathological liar is the kind of man who's gonna stab you in the back with a sweet, warm smile, and you're gonna thank him for that. You don't talk to a man like that. A man like that is not allowed to speak. That's the kind of man you fight.

I think Mentzen has cornered himself. First he got into his head that he had to be "neutral" at all costs, and then he was just involved, de facto playing va banque in a game in which the good of Poland was at stake. I respect his behaviour as highly irresponsible and as a symptom of political immaturity, so as not to say more powerfully – megalomania. He has, of course, achieved a media and PR victory, forcing us to closely follow each step and all word of it and bringing to him both possible future presidents. But even during his second gathering with Nawrocki, he did not decide to give his support, but acted as if he wanted to demonstrate: Here I am, Sławomir Mentzen, a wonderful kid of the Confederate, gathering with the future president, see how crucial I am, look how much I can!

In the end, is Mentzen going to lose politically by his behavior? The answer is no. While cunning, pride and stupidity are rewarded in democracy, it will not lose.

Anticampation Beaver

There is nothing to compose about Trzaskowski's campaign, and what has already gone up – both he and his environment, did everything to plow their own chances. They were so effective that they fueled hatred in their followers and in compplexed pseudo-elites equal to the rotten West, but in the eyes of all reasoning man they ridiculed and de facto helped Charles Nawrock become president.

Let the comment be utilized by Stephen Hardoch, who cannot be suspected of voting for Nawrocki: Has liberal commentaries already taken a look at their function during the election campaign? How many votes did prof. Hartman get for his candidate calling voters Nawrocki morons, non-teachers and fascists? How many did Manuela Gretkowska give him gratefully telling him about people voting to inhale their farts, how many prof. Bilewicz claiming that the voters of Nawrocki were side with the Jedwabny murderers and everyone else, in whom the contempt of half the citizens of their country wins with reason?

Nawrock campaign?

And here I come to a peculiar conclusion, due to the fact that there is no way to say anything more about the Nawrock run than the Trzask campaign. In the debates, he managed, he was conscious and fit. But at the same time, it did not go beyond the scope of the god-parent communes, so well known from the rhetoric of the PiS. If it had not been pressed by Mentzen, he would most likely not have even cut off from the darkest charters of the regulation of the alleged Law and Justice.

Hopefully, as president, he won't be as conservative as the campaign. He's hurt himself many times. It is known that he played for the voices of the indecisive, who believe tv talk and pay attention to the alleged “image bumps” and that is the only way I can explain any of his behaviour. Had it not been for the consciousness of this (immorsing in its essence) feature of the democratic system, in my opinion, it would have no reason to be ashamed of either its statutes (which Mentzen rightly pointed out) or that he was putting any nicotine bags in his teeth. alternatively of blocking his face and then explaining himself, he would have posted a photograph of Clint Eastwood chewing tobacco and spit on a barking caravan.

The first specified run – hopefully not the last!

The Polish political scene has changed importantly for the first time in many years and let us keep an eye on this standard. I hope that Krzysztof Stanowski will find a way to delight us with further campaigns, including parliamentary ones, and all these forbidden political murders pasted with the strategy will realize that their time is moving out, or at least the time is moving out erstwhile they can lie, mess around and make fools of people without any shame.

The way in which the run was conducted he said a lot about anti-system policies and groups. I encourage you to draw conclusions and share them in comments, knowing that many of them will be polemic about mine! In the next text, however, I invitation you to summarize not the run but the social one, due to the fact that these elections showed first of all how deep the civilization divides Poles today...
