COLOGNE- Eurowings (EW), Germany’s largest leisure airline, is set to modernize its fleet with 40 new Boeing 737 MAX 8 (737-8) aircraft allocated by the Lufthansa Group.
This move, scheduled to begin in 2027, positions Eurowings at the forefront of sustainability and efficiency in European aviation. The $5 billion investment will reinforce the airline’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.
