The European Parliament adopted a resolution on strengthening the defence of the European Union. Article 13 recognises the Shield of the East as a flagship task for EU security. This was a brief mention of a full task full of dangerous Eurocrats' ideas, which is why the Confederation voted only in favour of the amendment with this article, but rejected the full resolution.
This is what the Confederate voted against:
1⃣ Against the establishment of permanent backing for Ukraine in relation to Polish GDP.
2⃣ Against giving the defence decision to the EU institutions and taking the right of veto in defence matters to the Polish government.
3⃣ Against the European common debt and the deficiency of control over what kind of arms Poland buys and at what price.
4⃣ Against the right of the European Commission to place arms contracts on behalf of and at the expense of the associate States of the European Union.
The Eurocrats want to lay their hands on our sovereignty again. This time they chose the defence area of the state. Even in specified a hard global situation, they are trying to seize the chance to guide us. This resolution is in the interests of the German and French arms industry. Berlin's useful idiots with Polish passports can't realize it, so they brazenly eat on others.
Poland must have a strong, modern and efficient army. We gotta strengthen alliances, we gotta invest in fresh weapons. We gotta build weapons and ammunition factories. We gotta get ready for the worst, due to the fact that that's the only thing that will effectively scare distant the aggressors. But above all, we must keep control of it ourselves!
